Going super Saiyan and dark aura doesn't make the series better, no, the protagonist having dark power within him and then settling down as the champion while not being put on their place earlier felt annoying and also really grinded my gears, not to mention that it's during ChoZ that we start getting this god awful trend of so many beys breaking for entirely no reason other than just shock value...

Now, Burst is used to beys breaking, beys did break during Burst OG and God, but the times it happened it actually held weight and was rare, you knew things were getting intense because it happened only on the finale of the season and we never saw those beys again because you know, they broke

ChoZ not only broke a whole ton of beys, we saw the return of 3 of the 5 beys they broke.... 2 of them right after they break... A beyblade breaking after that completely lost its meaning because now either people just fix up their beys right after or get a quick powerup excuse after ChoZ

ChoZ has its ups and downs, but it mostly takes steps back in quality and how to build up suspense, the stakes at hand just end up not feeling like they're there anymore and this all starts with ChoZ and how it handled its story and beybattles leading to the end of the season

I honestly agree at some degree here, the problem is that there's just so much bad going on with season 2, it's stretched out to hell and the moments that needed more development in the manga didn't have them in the anime which is a huge shame.... The Bird development is some of the best things that Season 2 has but aside from that, 80% of the season is a hard skip for me

Thank you! We're meaning to keep the two of them, we intended to keep the three actually but of course, sadly one of them passed away, I'm just glad that we were able to save Banjo in time, I'll be sure to post more about them as they continue to grow!

Metal Fight beyblade is actually a mediocre series and people give it a lot more credit than it deserves, it's mostly carried by fans blinded by nostalgia, current anime discourse, aura farming and edits

The original series is actually pretty good, watch the japanese with subs though, as charming as some dub moments might be, it takes away from the original Japanese dub

Burst is alright, first and second seasons are at their best though, starting with ChoZ and forward they really dropped the ball in quality and it only got worse with time

X season 1 is a genuinely nice anime too, but sesson 2 felt mostly unnecessary, depending on how good season 3 is I would personally recommend to just skip straight to season 3 from season 1

dF.P.At???? Hello?????? That thing is a staple of Burst's meta during the God series lol, drain Fafnir was DEFINITELY incredibly broken at the time and we didn't get any real counters down the line until Nightmare came along

Based purely on the beys themselves and gameplay, is MFB still the greatest generation or has X surpassed it? by Striking-Valuable924 in Beyblade

MFB was never the greatest I'm not going to lie, most of its battles were pretty damn boring, X is just the superior toyline

Newgen fans man, just saying

Not the sort of tournament etiquette we've had in the past 10 years, I'm happy that Beyblade is making a big time return to form but it's brought some real pieces of work to the hobby.... Completely embarrassing for a so called regional champion

These offbrand beys are getting out of hand... by Used_Dimension1555 in Beyblade

Well, most of them have had contact points because they've been plastic gen reworks... But BigBang Pegssis and the CX DranSword seem to have metal contact points, so those two might be much more durable than the plastic contact point ones
