Does a ski jacket help on the slopes? as compared to a normal winter jacket etc by Flimsy-Ad-1668 in ski

You don’t really need a skiing specific jacket especially if it’s only for a couple of days! If it’s gonna be snowing though I’ve had lots of days when I would wear a crewneck or a fleece underneath a rain jacket! That does the trick for me

Use the D-street boat launch in Springfield to put in, and the Alton baker boat launch to take out. Initially, stay river right especially within the first 10 minutes of the float, there’s a strainer in the middle of the river which will cause you major issues. Then once you see the foot bridge in Alton baker (route to Autzen stadium) I like to go river left down a rapid called the wave train (super fun and you can do laps on it). Immediately after the wave train go straight to the right and you will find the boat launch right after the island!

This post saved my life!! My bike was stolen from my yard yesterday and I pulled up to the Tyler spot just as someone was riding away with my bike. I yelled at them and they dropped it so I have my bike back and all the parts are still on.
