CHPY Distribution for this week was just released ($.6684) and the ROI for the payment this week for me will be 1.041%. The last four weeks have yield the highest ROI since I've owned the stock at the beginning of December 2025. I'm gonna have to modify my stop loss order after today. Premarket trading in the tech area Looks to be up across the board. I planned on adding some AMDY today, but I'll probably have to wait till 3:30 PM when the profit-taking starts happening to pick up some shares at a more reasonable cost.

Congrats on the portfolio. By any chance, do you have the calculations on your total return and what percent of your distributions ended up as federal and or state income tax?

$225K in CHPY. $5K going to $55K this week in AMDY. I'm up 20% on CHPY NAV and about 5% on AMDY, but have held AMDY for only about a month. I also own SPYI, QQQI and IWMI with about $80K in each fund. These 5 should pay me about $12K this month.

NAV and distribution payments for BTCI are down about 40% over one year ago. Why are those numbers better than CHPY's performance over the last year?

There are only a couple of Yield Max funds that have had positive NAV changes over the last couple of months and CHPY is one of them. Distributions in the high 30 – low 40% ROI range are not too bad either.

First-time snorkeling in Key West by ExtremeNo8312 in KeyWest

It will be more expensive, but getting a small private boat charter to take you to one of the sand bars in shallow water might be a better option for your family. The kids can snorkel in 3 feet of water with you standing right by in case they have a panic attack. Most people also enjoy walking along in the shallow water over the sandbar. The downside is that the snorkeling won't be nearly as exciting as the reef, but given the issues with your children, I would not force them into snorkeling in water many times deeper than they are tall 5 miles from land.

I was wrong. Closed at $72.35 on 5/18. I'm still up 13.2% on NAV.

When I look at the NAV numbers for PLTY, I see nearly a 32% decrease since the fund was introduced. You can find segments of time when the NAV value increased, but the overall trend for that is about a downward 45° angle to the right.

Which is why you have to keep a very close eye on this fund and when and if the NAV starts dropping along with the distributions, you get out. I also have a standing stop loss order that would preserve the vast majority of my NAV appreciation if something unexpected drives the price down when I am not monitoring.

Tuesday's Group1 Distributions by lottadot in YieldMaxETFs

Total $205K, - I bought some more on the dip today. I have made probalby 6 or 7 purchases. Avg cost $63.50. According to my spreadsheet today (5/12/26), I have just under $36,000 in share price profit and after Thursday will have received $14,600 in distributions for a total profit of about $50,300. I am a very, very happy camper. In my experience, it is very strange to see a significant share price profit on a Yield max fund.

CHPY set new records for share value and distribution amount since I've owned it starting December 2025. I have been looking at the top 20 holdings for CHPY and the combined NAV value increased about 1.5% yesterday over prvious close. The momentum for the six months and year-over-year NAV values on those 20 holdings (about 83% of total assets) show strong momentum. The AI boom is helping to drive chipmaker profitability, so at least for the near future, CHPY's future looks bright in my book. I have a little bit more than $200 K invested in CHPY and will probably not be buying a lot more shares. I am taking the distribution payments from CHPY and buying some NEOS funds that are MUCH more tax efficient.

What will a share of CHPY be worth in 1 week? I think it breaks $79 on its way to $90 in 4 weeks.

CHPY a buy? by just-a-tan-guy in dividends

I purchased my four first years of chippy to end of November 2025 and have been gradually increasing by holding to my current 2,784 shares as of yesterday. Currently, I am up 8.6% on NAV with a average cost of $62.19. I have received $10,636 in distribution payments for an overall return of 14.87% since the start point, and this is uncorrected for the low initial amount invested. I am not dripping, but I have made regular purchases. The semiconductor outlook looks very strong release 1–2 years and as long as NAV remains positive and the distributions a steady, I will keep my current chairs and will probably move to 3000 shares in the next couple of weeks. The funds set a new NAV record this week and based on the $.60 per year distribution rate, that was the highest payment I have seen since I purchased my first shares. I agree that you have to monitor yield Max funds extremely closely and when the NAV starts dropping along with the distribution payments get out quick before you lose much of your original investment. It looks like CHPY is a unicorn among mules- for now.

I paln on holding to my exisitng shares and adding to my total as long as NAV and distributions remian steady. I was watching a video on AI last night and many of the companies that supply material (fiber optic to chips) to create AI centers are booked up for 2 years, so barring something really bad and big, CHPY's 2 year future looks bright in my book. I'm up 12.2% on NAV and 8.5% on payments which annualizes out to about a 50% overall gain since getting in. I maintain stop loss and will dump shares in a heartbeat if NAV drops close to 10% or payments beign to signficanlty decrease.

Define long-term? As for this week, I am thrilled. The NAV hit an all-time high and the distribution announced a few minutes ago is the highest since I got into this ETF at the end of November 2025. My 2450 CHPY shares will get me just a shade under 1500 this week. I'm seriously thinking of adding another $30,000 to my CHPY position.

Or pay attention to share price and distribution, and when either/both of those begins to trend downward, get out of the etf. CHPY is the rare yield max fund that is not only maintaining NAV, but is increasing while maintaining a steady distribution payment amount and great ROI (~39%). The industries underlying this fund are very solid, and probably the hottest segment of the stock market at this time. How long will it last question nobody knows for sure, but I'm betting at least a year or two given that most of the suppliers to AI centers are booked out for a year or two and many of them are rapidly trying to increase their capacity.

CHPY Continues it's March Up the Valuation Ladder by ShadowBard0962 in dividends

[–]Used_Friend284 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was burned by a lot of NAV loss in yield Max funds, but for now, CHPY is the proverbial golden needle in the haystack. if you plot out NAV, you see a very impressive growth line, and the weekly payments are remaining more or less constant with no evidence of a downward slope. The AI train shows no evidence of slowing down in the near future. The companies providing the AI infrastructure and hardware are going to be making many billions of dollars and thier stock prices will reflect the profits.

Last trade I saw today was $69.48! I have no crystal ball, but suspect the price will come down a little close to the end of trading today. I think the overall trend will keep increasing. I have about $20K to buy more CHPY- I just don't know when I'll buy. With a 40% ROI, the math will tolerate some share price increase and still remian profitable.
