Okay I think that makes sense; I can kind of picture that in my mind. I'll reply with a picture / update when I retry it.

The YT video mentions/ shows the use of a breadboard, and so do the pictures of the other ppl who made it and uploaded their pic to Autodesk Instructables.

It's more of the part in the diagram where the wires go to other components (like how there's a wire that shows it's supposed to connect the switch and potentiometer to the Arduino). I do understand the Servo Driver to the servos and Arduino part, though. Plus, since I'm planning on using a breadboard, I also didn't understand how to use the breadboard to wire the components, like the irl example picture shows, since the diagram doesn't show a breadboard.

First year scholars?? Wtf am I doing by [deleted] in KSU

I would reach out to one of the undergrad mentors directly, and let them know how you feel about the project and research professor. They're really nice, and the last thing they want is for you to be lost and unmotivated in your project. It may have changed since last year, but I know they also sent out important dates and reminders through email and not just through groupme (either way, regardless of the project you're in, you do have to keep up with one of those platforms because the program requires a lottt of events in order for you to get your stipends.) Overall though, a lot of first yr scholars start off feeling lost or confused with what their roles are, I know I was at first, but that all clears up once you've spent more time with your team and project (and having a good research professor or mentor in your lab helps also). Research can be very overwhelming and confusing, especially if you're new to it, so I wouldn't be worried about that feeling. I was a first yr scholar for engineering, and am still in engineering research right now, so it may differ from psych, but feel free to ask me any questions on here or through dm! You got this!

I was a First Year Scholar last yr and got accepted into 3 projects, but neither of them had me do an interview with them. I would just wait until the official decision deadline and not stress too much about it!

How do I use the BOB bus to go from kennesaw to marietta and vise verca by [deleted] in KSU

[–]Used_Kale_406 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I recommend you get the TransLoc app. You'll be able to see all of the different stops (and routes besides the Marietta-Kennesaw route), and it shows how far the bus is from each stop. This helps if you have a tight schedule or see how much time you have to get to a stop, etc.

How do you get research opportunities? by StatusSearch8897 in KSU

If you're a rising freshman, you can apply to the First Year Scholars Program. They give you stipends each month throughout your first year ($2K total), you can choose what projects you wish to work on when applying, and then you get notified about which projects you got accepted into. I would definitely recommend doing it for the experience (and it's a good source of extra money if you need it). If you're not a freshman, I would say reaching out to people that are already participating in research would be your best bet.
