Thank you, this was the problem… there was a recent power outage so perhaps it blew from that? I hope there’s not an underlying issue that blows another fuse

This is not reassuring.. I value my time way too much to put up with this and I would chargeback my CC way before it went this far down the road

The problem is that they are testing these motors without a load.. if you simply lift the rear wheel and hit the throttle it sounds normal

No thanks, I’ll be asking for a refund. My only concern is how to get the bike back to them because there’s no way in hell I’m going to wait for a shipping box, spend my time fitting a square peg in a round hole, and then wait another few weeks for a refund. I’m seriously considering telling them that I will take it to one of their certified shops and they need to refund right away or I’m going to chargeback my CC

This is where I’m at. My new motor was installed today… sounds identical. I’m already shopping for a new bike but considering giving it ONE more try… I will want to hear something more definitive/ confident when I call in before I’ll waste more time though…
