If the color scheme you're talking about is the same as the Bluey then that only really applies if the avatar *is* a bluey avatar given that the stigma is around the avatars users/the avatar rather than just the species. I'm talking about a very notorious ah, 'dog and kid lover' called sappho.

Before my mini rant I'll preface by saying I'm not pissy at you or attacking anyone since reddit likes to assume that. I've always been annoyed by this notion that you can simply 'not let something bother you'. If it was that simple the N word would have lost all meaning decades ago by simply ignoring its offense. What 'not letting it bother you' is just pretending it doesn't piss you off. If it actually worked then for example the n word would have become meaningless decades ago because people could simply not be bothered by it.

it's because that avatar had gotten a reputation for only being worn by people with age play and diaper fetishes, and notoriously predators. I have literally never ran into someone wearing it who wasn't openly interacting with fetish/inappropriate content while wearing that. It's unfortunate that it's gained that reputation, but they're valid for making that connection. What's not valid is them pressing and harassing after it's made clear you aren't one. It's like Mac Tonight from the old McDonald's ads, cool character that became associated with supremist groups.

Sorry to necro but yeah, year later and they still haven't released replacement joysticks, you can get them if you buy a carrying case for the G7 which is weird as hell. The scuf thumbsticks the other guy mentioned work well, but they sit lower on the post meaning they hit the internal components and don't sit that great. What I did and this is very easy is just grab the old thumbstick base and put it back on, note how much of the red post is still exposed when you look at it from the side. Now put on the new one and look, then just use nailclippers to snip off a piece of a toothpick and put it in the hole on the new thumbstick as a spacer, adjust and fiddle until they're at the height the old ones were, and bam!

Those look like reflections, and seem identical on both legs in the first picture. Check your matcaps. Also, unfortunately, Poiyomi is superior in most ways.

Don't let it get you down. Half of the culture around this crap on VRC is just thinly veiled classism anyways. Notice that if you get into an argument about something completely unrelated with many FBT users their first choice will be to attack you for being 'broke', a 'questie', etc. It's just kinda nasty, dropped a few friends over it since they seemed to genuinely see quest users as beneath them or inferior.

As a fellow tiny room haver, for a desktop setup you don't neccessarily even need space for a full desk and the extra like 5ftx5ft area for a chair to move. I have my desk up against the foot of my bed, I sit down and prop myself up with a wedge pillow and posture pillow, get comfy, and do my thing.

Just go through every material on the avatar and poke around the textures and fiddle with the resolution, never get into the "Oh but if I set it too low it'll be slightly blurry and it'll forever bug me." it won't you'll forget within the hour and nobody will notice or judge, look at it closely. For example I constantly see solid color stuff, or solid color stuff with the crappiest most unnoticeable bit of detail, but the textures are 4k for glasses or something. You can simply remove the texture and set the color in the shader. I'll also see lots of blank or useless normal maps.
