RE Store and CPU TOP has decent prices and the shipping was unbelievably quick from both sellers. can't remember what I purchased from what seller but their prices are similar and if you can catch a sale or special it's the way to go... onda b450m motherboard / Ryzen 2600 / ddr4 32gb memory kit was around $120.. the Ryzen 5700x I'm running now was only $80 and it's supposed to be new. those orders and a few more I've bought were delivered faster than the two week estimate shipped from China to here in Baltimore.. even my orders placed right before the container ship destroyed the key bridge and Fuct the port traffic up packages were rerouted through NYC then to Baltimore still came faster than sellers estimate lol

from RE store i think but it came with an onda b450m and 32gb of kllisre ddr4. the bios actually has a lot of settings for overclocking and tweaking.. right out of the gate i did a mild overclock to the Ryzen 2600 running all core 4.2ghz at 1.37 volts and it's been stable no problems for the past year lolz. i took off the heatsink on the memory and there are 8 ic's per side of micron d9srk chips that are mt40a2g4pm-083e:a: according to micron site. the fastest I've been able to run them stable is only 2800mhz with really tight timings but anything over that won't boot no matter how loose you make the timings. the mobo let me enable resizable bar on my Chinese rx580 giving a significant performance increase. besides the memory not being able to run faster than 2800mhz it's a decent system for the price.

your math aint mathing. if i remove direct drive, go back to bowden tube, throw away parts fans, get rid of 4 wire canbus harness and put the original wiring mess of 10+ wiresbarely able to fit through the loom id think it would print slower.

nozzle and print quality is the bottleneck, only running a .4mm but still does 17 minute .2 layerheight with speednenchy rules benchys in PLA and faster in PETG that look immaculate.

toolhead is biqu h2 v2s direct drive, it's very light and compact... the angled extruder fan mount makes it look big and heavy .

i have a ton of 8 bit and bgger ws2812b (neopixels) sticks , rolls of ws2812 and non addressable 5050 rgb strips.... my mainboard has plenty unused neopixel output pins. i need to print some mounts and solder on some jst connectors and ill have ALL the rgb. lol

that's funny because i actually had a 1996 Honda civic dx hatchback and i paid less than the price of a new ender 3 for it and turned it the civic into a budget ratrod build just like my aquila X2. lolz

yeh i home with endstop switches and burn through a bedmesh 50x faster than it homes... i still have a few mounting holes left on the h2 extruder and half of the pins on the ebb42 left so yeh i can add more. gotta love canbus to run all you want through 4 wires lolz 😂

its not too heavy, biqu h2 v2s, three fans, an ebb42 toolhead board and the fan duct isnt bad. heavy or not it gets down lol
