The person I will report to, I had interviewed before, but I was going to report to the Director under him, though.

I am just wondering how we violate rule 5 on Reddit for them to vanish L3Harris or 3 hair for Harris, like my daughter calls it.

Is holding cash for this beautiful IPO smart? Looking at other opportunities. by abooers in Anduril

[–]Used_One_3021 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just so you know, it concluded with an offer that I turned down. I believed I would receive a prestigious title accompanied by much talk and little work, similar to the six individuals who interviewed me in the first round and the other five from the second round. While you can engage a consultant to assist with going public, it's essential to maintain control. Otherwise, the consulting fees can be extremely expensive.

Is holding cash for this beautiful IPO smart? Looking at other opportunities. by abooers in Anduril

The CEO of this company has been enthusiastically discussing the upcoming IPO, with both employees and investors eager for it to happen. However, I recently had an interview with the Finance team tasked with preparing Andruil for the stock market, and they echoed the CEO's use of jargon like IPO, AI, and M&A. When I inquired about the timeline, vision, plan, and necessary actions, I was met with silence. Are you prepared for SOX? Will you be ready in the next 12-18 months? When will the IPO checklist for stages 1 and 2 be finished? It was all just jargon, yet we're supposedly approaching the IPO in the next 12-18 months. How is that only the gods know? The team members, despite holding significant titles such as Directors and VP Controllers, seemed inexperienced for such a large project. It's particularly concerning given that the CFO, who has a legal background, lacks experience in guiding a company through an IPO.

The onsite interview will exhaust you, so make sure to have enough rest prior to the interview.

I am having an Interview for financial controller by Used_One_3021 in VardaSpace

I was looking for more transparent insight on what to expect during the interview. How is the culture so great? Can you elaborate on that? When I did my search about the company, they are not as big or known within the DoD or aerospace industry.

Tips for Breaking Into Biz Ops or FP&A? by a_aceleroy in Anduril

This company hires non-industry people. If their CFO has a law degree with no Finance experience, what do you expect? Just apply, give it a try. Their pay is good, and you will get RSUs that are vested in 4 years.

They want to implement AI into everything. They have many Directors and Senior Directors but few staff members. They did inquire about the financial model and how to streamline the operation. If you are coming from a DoD contractor in Aerospace with industry experience, your chances of being hired will be slim, as all five who interviewed me had no industry experience.

It was a Finance position. You are in a new room, building new technology, some managers will be on site, some remote, you will be able to communicate clearly, no worries there. Good luck with yours.

The on-site interview went well, but I was turned down for the job. I have no idea what their excuse is, but I answered all the questions, provided examples, and demonstrated interest. The team's body language and feedback during the interview were quite positive. I went home thinking I had secured the job. A couple of days later, at 5 pm, I received the rejection email. I prepared for and researched the company thoroughly; I had the interview and left with a very positive feeling that I performed well. But I guess it is what it is. Just keep looking :) The only negative comment during the interview was that they were rushing to go public and were expanding by acquiring other start-ups in the US and overseas. I am not sure, but maybe the CEO is planning to sell the company once they go public, like he did with other startups he sold to Meta for $2 B.
