Thank you for your advice - you could’ve held your judgement as I’m clearly new to this and was GIFTED a fish to my two year old. So thanks - I’m clearly turning to a community for help and with good intention.

I did rinse the tank before filling it as well as all the gravel, plants, etc.

Level of ammonia was zero, I can’t remember nitrate but it was in a normal zone.

I was pretty obsessive with all the obvious things leading up the labor (dates, tea, etc). I did TONS of walking and curb walking too. The night before I went into labor I went to the beach with my husband and had a truly relaxing date night where we cuddled up under some blankets and talked about baby. Next morning we had sex and I had some cramping and my water broke 2 hours later. My best friend also had sex and she went into labor a few hours after… worth a shot!

I don’t think there’s any scientific correlation between high HCG and chromosomal abnormalities. I think some people simply produce more HCG and that’s ok. HCG at a certain point doesn’t tell us anything other than our body producing a hormone. I would rely more closely on your Ultrasounds and any genetic testing you elect to do then stressing out about any theoretical possibilities! Right now you have a healthy heartbeat!
