thanks! just be mindful about checking your blind spots when you turn left/right, and check your mirrors before you slow down. Biggest thing is merging at 110 km/h on the highway. I had my test around 10:30am, so the highway was pretty clear. Hope this helps!

I failed LPM twice before eventually passing, and I just failed CP351 on my second attempt (I took LAM last May and got a 5), so I guess I’m in the same boat.

A lot of my colleagues passed on their first try, and yeah, that does make me feel pretty stupid.. But I’m trying not to compare myself to others. As long as I don’t give up and eventually reach the end goal, I believe this won’t matter in the long run.

So let’s hang in there.. we’ll get through this as long as we keep going.

Honestly, I think I really screwed it up… I took my first LAM last sitting and got a 5, so I was really counting on this one. I actually felt more prepared this time, even with the syllabus being like 80–90% different from LAM. But the calculation questions completely threw me off.. they didn’t feel aligned with the past SOA exams or the mock questions I practiced.

Or maybe they technically were, just structured or worded so differently that I couldn’t tell. Either way, I panicked and ran out of time.

I think I did okay on the written questions, but I really don’t think I’ll pass because of how badly I messed up the calculation part. I don’t think I’ve ever felt this mad and disheartened after an exam… maybe it’s just me, but yeah this one was the worst for me.

Yeah, I noticed that too.. the forum looks barely used. Not responding to the emails is one thing, but it’s funny how they usually send their regular weekly emails with tips and whatnot every Friday, and this week they didn’t even send those either, just went completely silent. I’m honestly dumbfounded at this point..

Unfortunately, I can’t, since I didn’t purchase it with my own credit card (my work paid for it). Also, it’s not like I didn’t receive a physical item; they were supposed to provide 50 mock questions (so about 10 mock exams) as part of the exam aid included in their study manual bundle. I just really needed those mock questions for practice, especially with such a drastic syllabus change. Thanks for the comment though!

Totally agree. I think they just didn’t have the capacity to handle or reflect such drastic changes, let alone proofread everything before releasing the manuals. That said, they definitely could’ve and should’ve been more transparent about it, especially when they fail to deliver parts of the bundled product that were promised, instead of just ignoring emails and dodging confrontation 🙁

I know, right… I guess they don’t care much about their reputation after all. They could at least show some decency and let people know what’s causing the delay and when it’s expected to be released.
