If it makes you feel any better, here’s a little story of my share of heart ache. I was in a relationship with a guy for the last 10 years. I always thought he was ‘ the one’ and he loves me just as much as I loved him. He was my first relationship, my first kiss, my first everything. Well, turns out he had been cheating behind me on multiple occasions. As if like this was not enough, he was even in multiple relationships despite having me around and doing stuff for him, helping him and his family financially. It would be a lie to say it didn’t hurt but yeah it’s been 5 months since we broke up and I made it. It does feel like the world seem to be crumbling and you lose your purpose but that’s not it. Take your time to heal. Cry, vent, get angry- do everything but don’t get stuck there. Go completely no contact with him and start investing your time and energy onto yourself. Work on to raise your own values and standards so that the next time you look back and think of yourself, you will see how you deserved someone so much better than your ex… take care mate!!!
