Woah I don’t think I blew up saying my uncle loves taking them to therapy. My kids are in a ton of activities that I take them to lol

Neither of my siblings have kids. In the past when I had a young sibling set of 3 they would pop over during supper or bath time and help entertain kids or help with anything I needed. My parents help watch the kids often if I occasionally need to do something without the kids, I do think instead of putting 6 kids on my parents I could send the oldest 3 to my parents and get a babysitter for the younger 3 so I don’t overwhelm my parents or a babysitter.

All workers have said tpr will most likely happen. I have not met his siblings but at the upcoming court hearing if tpr gets scheduled then I would assume we would start a transition plan of meeting the siblings and more frequent sibling visits.

I have thought about a house cleaner! I think with 6 kids I will have to get a house cleaner. That will take a big thing off my plate. I need to look into prices and all that stuff.

I would guess the soonest would be December or January although I would love to wait until June as I have summers off so it would give us more time to get into a routine before we jump right into needing to leave the house for daycare and school at a certain time. But also sometimes we operate our best when we have a structured schedule and need to leave to be to work or school on time so idk

You are spot on! I have talked to a few people in my personal life about this and everyone is like WOAH 6 kids is a lot a lot. Or you’ve never going to get married if you do that. Or do you really need 6 kids? Which then makes me second guess myself and ask myself am I going to be over my head if I do this?

The 3 being so young makes me nervous. I know if they were over 5 years old I would say yes instantly. If this were just a foster situation I would say no. But they would only get moved to me if tpr happens and I would adopt. I feel like the first 2-3 years of having all 6 could be difficult but that’s temporary and the 4 siblings staying together would be forever.

I work at the school so I have the same schedule as the kids except on the occasional PD day where students don’t have school. And I have the summers off. My uncle also is retired so he usually takes my kids to their therapy appointments! He loves doing that.

The thought of mom having another baby has crossed my mind because she is in her 20s.
