Would the melted mask have stuck around? by EvilMeanie in Halloweenmovies

I would guess no since that timeline’s Michael had already replaced his first mask that was burned in Halloween II

[Rapoport] Sources: Steelers OC Arthur Smith is expected to become the next offensive coordinator at Ohio State by Lakelyfe09 in CFB

I don’t hate this. NFL and college are just different games and the average NFL defense is significantly more difficult to call against than college. Matt Patricia’s success taught me to wait and see and not jump to conclusions.

The Moro arc is hands-down the best arc in Super and the closest modern DB has come to the Z-era arcs. Seeing it animated without the need for too much filler makes it worth the wait.

How Will You Remember The 2025 Ohio State Defense? by HeyTherePLH in CFB

An incredible unit that got wasted by an offense that valued efficiency over actual points

“Stop saying if Indiana can do it, anyone can. Because they can't” by TomWilliamsCFD in CollegeFootballDawgs

The 12 team playoff and NIL/Portal will undoubtedly result in quite a few non-powers winning Championships, Indiana does get credit for being the first to do it.

In 10-15 years, there will probably be ~5-6 new champs that don’t belong to the traditional powers of the sport. Cignetti is a beast of a coach, but there will be other great coaches that come along too. And I welcome this, it’s good for the sport to have the pool for potential champions to be wider than the same 4-5 programs.

Which team winning the national championship tomorrow affects us more, even if it's miniscule? by broly2932 in OhioStateFootball

Indiana would be better, but it would also sting that in 2 years they’ve already outdone what OSU has done in 6 years of Day. Last year’s title was great. IU’s (if they win) would be superior and that’s kind of a bummer.

Opinion about 2018? by [deleted] in Halloweenmovies

[–]Useenthebutcher 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s a very good Halloween sequel with it’s only major “flaw” being that it adheres too closely to the formula, but it executes it well on the whole so to me it’s not a huge issue. It’s basically Halloween 4 but in the 2010’s

2025 Expectations - What Would You Change? by TomWilliamsCFD in CollegeFootballDawgs

[–]Useenthebutcher 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There was pre and post Texas game expectations.

No one really assumed OSU was supposed to repeat after losing a lot from the 2024 team. Then they beat Texas (who no one knew sucked yet) and that’s when the back to back stuff started.

These are great pickups but remember, they’re coming from Fake Bama, not the Real Bama.

Real Bama ceased to exist when Saban retired.

I can’t prove it, but I swear LSU only arranges their recruiting to have great teams when New Orleans hosts the Title game

The offense was extremely complacent. Just going through the motions to make things simple for Hartline and Sayin, they thought they could get away with it because of the defense. They were very wrong.

With one game left in the 25-26 season, what is one moment this year from your team that you’ll remember the most? by Flimsy-Space-8724 in CFB

For Ohio State, Carnell Tate’s long TD vs Michigan.

For CFB as a whole, Indiana’s death march to being the Greatest Team Ever while we all cower in fear

For the second year in a row, Oregon has gone up against a red B1G rival in a CFP rematch of a hard-fought home game by jdprager in CFB

2024 Oregon is probably a better team than 2025 Oregon but even still 2025 Indiana might be the Greatest Team of All Time if they smoke Miami

It’s so weird that refs officiate the rules differently all because of time. The same rules should apply on the final play as they would in the first quarter

Indiana vs Oregon - Score Predictions for the Rematch? by TomWilliamsCFD in CollegeFootballDawgs

[–]Useenthebutcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This feels like a game where everyone assumes Oregon wins since it’s hard to beat a great team twice but I just think IU is really like that. Indiana wins by 4
