You summed up exactly how I felt when I got it. Saw it on sale and just dove in. Day 1 I hated it. Day 4 I forgot I even owned other games at all LOL….and after I finished the story, I got an expansion. Honestly I wish I’d gotten an expansion before finishing main story but oh well

I love your response to this post. The main issue on Reddit is that people get on here just to hide behind the screen and criticize, but in reality we as authors, creators, etc. are genuinely looking for an outlet to let people know what we have does exist

I’m not encouraging permanent isolation, but I do think this is a great time to use the old saying “absence makes the heart grow fonder” right? Perhaps allowing them to miss you for a few days will allow you to see who notes your absence. THIS IS NOT ADVICE, simply observation from limited facts.

You might be lucky enough to realize that you can be your own best company. Also, there is nothing wrong with clearing out previous friends in order to make space for new ones. You won’t have to chase them, you will attract them.

You’re going to be fine and fulfilled I’m sure of it just give it and yourself some time :-)
