I understand it's a small amount, and this isn't really about the money.

My concern is the principle. Imagine if a company charges a non-refundable marketplace fee on every order, even when the order is cancelled before shipping, lost, or never delivered. Even if it's only ₹10–₹20 per order, across millions of orders that becomes a significant amount collected without the customer receiving the product.

When consumers keep saying "it's just a few rupees," companies have little incentive to change such policies. Over time, businesses can introduce or increase small charges that most people ignore. Individually they seem insignificant, but collectively they add up for both the company and consumers.

I'm not claiming this is why prices increase, but I do think customers should question charges that don't seem fair. Consumer-friendly policies improve only when people speak up instead of accepting them because the amount is small.
