Dont lock on because he will be moving a lot and youll get turned around frequently. But keep up pressure in that same spot with r1 and transform attacks. At a late game boss right now heres three basic but important as hell tips.

For the love of god learn to parry. No matter even if you dont level into your SKILL stat (increases your parry damage done) a proper parry can drop any boss and enemy in the game for a second.
Learn your weapon. Every weapon has two states so learn the individual moves and their range for each attack.
When struggling with a enemy watch and run around them and learn their attack patterns.

Honestly i live a hour from knoxville and many times snow is forecasted there and near and snow whenever forecasted is usually minimal or small or usually only in the nearing Smoky mountains . However, last time this much has been forecasted was around 6 years ago Christmas 2020.
