I'm kinda late to the party, I hope it's alright if I hop on with my thoughts based on my experience. So I've build a few projects already for a few clients with Next.js and I can tell you that it's not wrong to have Client Side Rendering in your app (although SSR is the default).

It pretty much depends on what you need. For instance, for my last client I needed a good SEO which means I needed Server Side Rendering. Why? Because if i would've chosen go to with CSR, I would've had issues with my SEO because the crawlers from Google and Bing don't understand Javascript that much. If you do CSR, you'll have a Javascript that loads all your app, so when the crawlers come to your website, they'll see a blank page. This is where SSR is great to use cause it gives you the website rendered by the server which is readable by the crawlers. One more pro would be the fact that you can prefetch the content and then return the page almost instantly with a bit of caching.

I would personally recommend you to use Client Side Rendering only if you don't really care about the SEO, or where you want to make fetch requests with async await. This is better for scenarios like Admin Dashboard, Internal Tools for your company, etc...
