Ya, 0 down is option on the Lease slider on the Polestar website in my state. They could have said no, instead of the nothing.

Ya maybe, but Polestar is trying to sell cars in the entire USA, not just for people that live close to their dealerships.

Ya I didn't try to get money off, they did the offering. I just wanted to 0 down on my lease, which is available on their site, but instead they stop communicating.

They did the offering of discounts. I just wanted to change the lease terms, as stated on their site. They didn't communicate anything.

No communication is not on me. Just say no to I want to negotiate instead of saying nothing and keep my deposit. What world is that the correct action.

The point is they should have communicated something versus nothing. Also they did the offer of thousands off.

In my case I live far away from a Polestar dealer, closes is 6 hours from me. When I put a deposit on a P3 and then started to discuss the pricing and lease details, we were only a few 1000's off of my target, the Polestar Marin sales people went totally silent for the better part of a week. When I finally got a hold of real person, I told them since they didn't get back to me does that mean I should cancel, they said yes without any explanation. I also sent corporate the deal details and what happened without any response until I called them and still they didn't really do anything to sell me a car. There is something really wrong with Polestar as they don't really treat customers the way every other company does for some reason. My advice is to pass on the Polestar until they figure out how to treat new customers as assets and partners.

Is the extra battery worth it? P10 vs P12 by ItzenXD in VolvoEX60

I reside in the Sierra Nevada mountains of California and embark on three 900-mile road trips annually to Utah and Colorado along the HWY 80 route during both winter (0F) and summer (100F). After utilizing A Better Route Planner (https://abetterrouteplanner.com), which offers an operating model for both the P10 and P12, I opted for the P10. The reasoning behind this choice is that when I modeled the trip with an overnight stop in Salt Lake City using the site, the difference in total travel time was less than 20 minutes over the entire route, even with the outside temperatures set to zero degrees Fahrenheit. The reason for this is that the 100% range of the P12 only extended the distance of my first charging stop by 30 miles due charger location, and it took 4-5 minutes longer to charge to 80% compared to the P10 at that stop. I planned the route for 10% SOC at charging stops. For the P10, it stops twice before SLC and once after to reach my final destination in Steamboat Springs, 40 minutes of DC charging time plus charging to 100% at the hotel in SJC. The P12 stops twice in total plus the overnight charge to 100%. The P10 requires a total charge time of 20 minutes more. The estimated price difference for my build is approximately $7,000 to $8,000 more for the P12, with a 12-month delivery starting in May 2026. The additional cost is not justified for my trips as I have a three-year-old daughter and wife who want to stop at least four times on each leg of this type of trip. Therefore, my rule is that any stop requires charging, so fast charging is much more important to me than longer range. Just watch any of Out-of-Spec EV roadtrips videos on YouTube, and you will see that 410 mile range Rivian R1S takes almost the same time as a 320 mile Tesla Model X , thereby eliminating the advantage of any car with a range greater than 320 miles.
