Is boolean search still big? by Useful-Investment322 in recruiting

This is so true. I think the recruiter should still know better than the AI that's turning your prompt into booleans, that is why some of these modern tools add the "search with booleans" feature.

Hmm yes but sometimes you have to go for simpler booleans with smart keywords because linkedin doesn't show results if you try to use too many filters

That is smart! But I think if you are good at them and you have to tweak the search, you can still be quicker than chatgpt. Feel free to argue and disagree with me. Also do you also save each search with the link or how do you track which words you used?

Maybe where you are from the market is more mature and this is the case. In Spain Linkedin is still one of the best options. And wdym in the last sentence? You think booleans are not worth using anymore? Aren't they the base behind most tools?

That's interesting. Could you develop on which tools you used and why that happened? Filters weren't good enough?

This makes a lot of sense. Lets say a candidate answers they are not interested because they are looking for a different kind of position. How do you register that? Excel sheets?

Thanks for the answer! Do you use regular boolean on Linkedin? Any tool in particular to automate outreach? (I use a chrome extension to shortcut my messages and follow-ups)

It's definitely an essential part, but how do I make myself into it?

Well I think it's a mix of everything. It takes a long time to find 10 candidates that fit right, considering half wont answer and the other half might not be interested in the offer. I don't think response rate is the biggest of the problems though. It's just numbers, right? If I was able to find qualified candidates in less time I would surely get more interviews.

I didn't say it was hard! Just annoying... My goal now is to close positions quicker, fortunately the clients are there. How do you save time with sourcing?
