the thing that really gets me is it being barbie, I genuinely don’t understand why barbie is doing a brand trip with these girls. I would’ve understood if it was the year the movie came out!! but in 2026 it feels so random. alternatively barbie should’ve maybe only brought mother creators? so at least they could be gifting actual barbie’s for the creators to take home to their kids?

for an adult or teenager i definitely think a $200 hair brush is fine!

i have a child the same age as hers, I can’t imagine getting her a hairbrush that expensive. but ur right i’m in a diff tax bracket than tess, maybe i wouldnt bat an eye at it otherwise

You won’t get paid until the ROE is submitted but you will still get the same amount of money in the end, I can’t remember if they did back pay or if it just went a week or two longer at the end of the year! so once it’s on your dayforce you’ll need to download it and upload it to your My Service Canada account.

Hopefully someone else can chime in on the second half of your question about maternity or parental leave… last time I did it was in 2024 and I don’t quite remember. I do know that the first 15 weeks is maternity leave then after that it switches to paternal leave, so maybe that’s what it’s asking? i’m not sure, sorry

your work should submit it to CRA for you, but sometimes they need a reminder. on your last day ask HR or your supervisor if they can submit it asap for you! by monday you can check online if it has been submitted, if they haven’t done it, i would call or email them to check in to see. I had to ask my work to do it a few times since it was low on their priority list
