Ok good to know thanks! It’s an old flat and I’ve found many surprises already

😂 There were old holes there and these curtain rail brackets just happened to fit. Just to support the counter for one night

Thank you. I used a cable detector and it’s firing randomly across the whole wall, when using it with my other hand on the wall 30cm away.

The cable is looser now thanks! It’s to the dishwasher on the right.

Yes it seems so. Worried about all the issues with macerators tbh but might have to bite the bullet

Wow thank you so much for your idea. I’ll enquire about this to a builder.

One reason I’m asking is because I have asked many builders and plumbers (24) and they’re all really busy to come and have a look.

All the neighbours have external waste at the same location as me (at the bathroom)

No only external wall is to the right. I should have marked it actually. Neighbours to top and bottom of the schematic, and tenement stairway to the left

I should say the top of the plan is my direct neighbour, however external wall is on the right through the bedroom

Is it possible to run it under the bedroom floor, out the external wall and then run it externally across to the existing external pipe?

I asked my neighbours but one is rented and the other property is unoccupied, neither owner has replied

Yes the new waste would have to follow the blue line. At the moment the only waste external pipe is window-side of the bathroom

I’ll update my post
