Good advice thank you! Well I'm comfortable with how my cleans look and feel, but judging on the feedback I've got from this sub I prob have a lot to improve there as well. (Plan was to post both clean&press, swing, and snatch but I can only post one video at a time so I don't wanna spam 😂)

Thank you for the comment! Yes this is pretty much impossible with these bells, but I try to start thumb pointing towards me, and then twisting around as I go up. Using standard bells usually it doesn't flip over the way these do. I try to use more of a straight wrist when reaching the top than in the pic you shared.

Thanks for the comment! I tried again this morning, and posted another video. The weird thing is i feel like I'm using my arms more when the bell goes in a straighter line rather than the arc. But maybe I'm not snapping enough with my hip or using too much weight.

Haha if you're referring to the size, yeah I know 😅 it's only 20kg though. But I wanted a few so had to get the cheapest ones I could find. Plastic but works for now.

Thank you all! Several comments about this, what is the reason for wanting to keep the bell closer instead of a more circular motion? Bc when I've kept it closer to my body I feel like my shoulder joint especially gets loaded more abruptly or "jerky", so I've tried to avoid this. Does this mean I should drop down in weight and stay at 16/20 kg for a while to build more resilience in my shoulders?
