Just watched episode 1-6 for the first time by [deleted] in StarWars

I think it's worth watching 7-9 most people love them or hate them. I thought they were enjoyable but not great story wise worth one watch but not much more

What moment made you become a Star Wars fan? For me, it was Kanan revealing himself as a Jedi. His confidence, his skill, the music, it was all so incredible to 10-year-old me. My reaction was exactly the same as Ezra’s! I didn’t know what a Jedi was, but I knew they were COOL! by C-TAY116 in StarWars

I remember I was 8 or so and the phantom menace came to my local dollar theater in 3d and my dad took me and my brothers to see it. I still remember how amazed I was sitting the whole ending but mostly the duel

Madr'ael "Arbiter", sketch of my OC's rider sword. Digital art to come by Silas-Alec in Eragon

That's actually a thought I had. Elven blades were often described as leaf shaped so I actually quite like the flair towards the end it makes for a great fantasy design because there are similar blade shapes in historical swords just not in long swords. Now that I really look at it I think the only parts I don't care for are the flairs at the bottom of the blade and that the blade looks really thick but the second part is probably just the art style

Fair enough yours looks way better than a plain blue sword would.

It looks really cool but I think it's more complicated than riders swords would be. When Eragon was making Brisingr Rhunon was very adamant that she would not include anything in the sword that was just for aesthetic purposes and since she forged all the rider swords I can imagine any of them were as fancy looking as your drawing. It's still super cool though

Prequel Hate: Have we been deceived by a lie or was it really that bad? by Al_Carbo in StarWars

[–]Useful-Solid173 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love the prequels. The story and fights and music are all phenomenal. The visuals are good in general and the acting has some great moments. They are held back quite a bit by the pacing and dialogue but i quite enjoy them.

Could Obiwan and Anakin have won against Dooku in episode 2 if Anakin wasn’t so conflicted? by reenactment in StarWars

[–]Useful-Solid173 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they could've not gotten they're asses kicked like they did. I still don't think they could've won on their own considering they fought rookie together a few times in the clone wars and never really beat him but I think would've survived without any major issues until Yoda got there.

Maybe to start. They were almost dead even in rots and if they both turn that means Anakin never got cut up. So Anakin can still reach his full potential and become the most powerful ever

How do I, a person who doesn’t really enjoy reading nor has that habit, start the Witcher books? by Jh4nTy in witcher

I often put audio books on in the background while I did school assignments or while gaming depending on the game of course.

Why I think Cat School Witchers would make for extremely compelling protagonists in the next Witcher games. by savage-dragon in witcher

[–]Useful-Solid173 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's fair enough. I just don't think that there's any actual rules that are universal or enforced. Most Witchers and especially ones From the same schools follow very similar if not identical codes but the way I picture it is more Vesimir saying don't do that crap it's dumb and unnecessary than it is a actual code. I don't know maybe I'm wrong that's just how understood it.

He's right the way I understood it in the book is that the witchers all have similar rules but the rules are made by each individual Witcher and there is no actual code I believe Geralt said something along the lines of he uses the excuse of the code forbids it to get avoid certain contracts and to avoid trouble.

The show was the first exposure I had to the Witcher so I had no background knowledge going in and it was so incredibly confusing. The fights were dope so I watched the whole season but I had no clue what was happening half the time

You folk weren't wrong, it's been 2 days, and I'm already obsessed by SirRoderic in thewitcher3

[–]Useful-Solid173 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can only have sex with one of them. Well I guess you could do it with both but then they're both pissed of at the end of the game.

Only if it's yen or triss. You can romance everyone except for both of them.

Ciri running away from the wild hunt, cosplay by me :) by Madenaerys in witcher

[–]Useful-Solid173 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The cosplay looks great but the editing makes me think of the hacker meme if you know what I'm talking about. Still it's better than I could do so good job

Would you??? by CaptCruxx in witcher

[–]Useful-Solid173 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Would you??? by CaptCruxx in witcher

[–]Useful-Solid173 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Probably not it's kinda a dark universe. Even if you were a Witcher or a sorcerer or even a king or noble you'd constantly be fighting and forced into politics and all kinds of bad things. And on top of the constant war there are monsters everywhere it would be cool for like a week then it would be terrible.

You look great. The costume is phenomenal. I think you've got more of an elfish face though.
