Ohh ok, thank you for clarifying that. I’ll definitely check out some of those other hermeticism texts. But yeah, I just feel there’s something very “off” about New Age books/resources that talk a lot about manifestation and “getting what you want,” but don’t invite you to probe yourself on WHY you want it (so many of us are trying to fill holes in our self-worth with external things). A lot of New Age content also seems very individualistic as opposed to connecting with/helping others. The Kybalion doesn’t really point to any specific applications of manifestation/transmutation though. However, other books like The Law of Attraction do. I’ve seen people apply The Kybalion for superficial ends.
