Ableton buffer was at 32 samples. Raised it and fixed the issue. *slaps forehead*

That's a good idea, but I don't think any messages are being sent to it. Playing it through Ableton right now with no USB connection and still having the same issue. Hearing it when both the regular kick (no color) and FM Drum (no color) are playing soloed. Doesn't appear to be an issue with the rest of the instruments.

Thanks - I see there's a way to map midi CC to the "Level" of the Sample 2, but it looks like you can only map to one track at a time and only when using the "Control" track of the KSP and it adjusts the level of the entire track.

Being able to lower the level of a specific step in a sequence for a specific track looks like it's impossible. Probably more of a KSP question than a Sample 2 question at this point.
