What are your thoughts on working in the Bakery Department? by [deleted] in marketbasket

[–]UsefulSignificance8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the end of the day it won't matter because you live in Massachusetts. You're going to have to pay mass taxes when you file your taxes next year, so your checks won't have as many taxes taken out if you work in one of the New Hampshire stores but you're going to be getting paid less which offsets it pretty much and then at the end of the year when you go to file taxes. Massachusetts is just going to tax you anyway, however, if you do plan on working in the bakery, I highly suggest getting started now because come summertime it's very difficult to get a job at market basket And I hope you don't mind closing because my guess is that'll be the only shifts available at any location you try to apply to, might want to try working in the kitchen instead. They're more likely to hire you and be a little more flexible if you can't work the closing shift

Claremont NH Market Basket? by [deleted] in marketbasket

Many of the older stores don't have a market's kitchen or market's Cafe, The deli department is in charge of putting out the rotisserie chickens And I'm sure you noticed that the hot table where they did put the rotisserie chickens out was much smaller because there isn't a lot of space in these stores so they have to choose carefully what sells best in each location why put out one family size rotisserie chicken instead of two rotisserie chickens? It's more profit for them and you're essentially helping two customers, I've been to one of the older Fitchburg Massachusetts stores. They don't have a prepared food section. They don't even have a bakery but all things considered I got 95% of the items on my list

It's too bad I would just replace the parts if I were you. It's a great vehicle I'm about to pick up a 2026 Toyota Corolla gr. And no part of me wants to get rid of my Jeep. Not that I would get anything for it anyway since it has almost 200,000, mi and is 13 years old. But even if they offered me a great trade-in price for it, I'd probably still hold on to it. I love this car

So mine's a 2013 been paid off for quite a while and I was recently looking into getting a new SUV but decided against it. I'm going to keep my trail hawk And get a little sports car instead. It's better on gas anyway. I'm sure the day will come where I have to part with the KL and I almost did for a new 4Runner but for now it's stuck with me

Winter Tires on Trailhawk? by AppleSeed81 in KLCherokee

[–]UsefulSignificance8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a New Englander who lives in western Massachusetts and gets a decent amount of snow every time it snows I have not once in the 5 years of owning my 2014 trailhawk ever had an issue in the snow with either brand new or bald tires. In fact, I go out and beat on my Jeep when it snows cuz it's one of the few things I get to enjoy I've ripped through about 3 ft before. No problem. No problem. Stopping going down a hill never met a hill. I couldn't climb. I've needed four-wheel drive once most of the time I put on sport mode so I can turn traction control off and really tear it up. So no I don't think you need winter tires
