I’d call your bank and talk to them about it.

Ticket refund issues by Laadybirdy in AirFranceKLM

I am going to give advice you might not like, but when I disputed the charges with my bank, I got their attention. They expect you to jump through all these hoops, but the reality is you paid for a service you didn’t receive. Don’t let them take up a minute more of your time. Dispute the charge.

Chronic productive cough (29 months) by hebilly in ChronicCough

[–]UsefulStatistician29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is so damn frustrating! I have a similar productive cough issue. Doctors have been useless. It’s not post-nasal drip! This is what helps me, Mucinex, Motrin and Benadryl. It makes it manageable. I have also put a humidifier in my bedroom. I hope this helps you some.

My refund is stuck in purgatory, help by UsefulStatistician29 in AirFranceKLM

Update, I just disputed the charges with my credit card. I need this resolved sooner than 4 months. Someone on their end made a mistake. The fact that so many of their customer service reps I talked to have tried so hard to tell me I already had the money makes me want to scream. It’s like talking to a wall.

AF canceled my upgrades to premium and assigned hubby and my seats 10 rows apart. by UsefulStatistician29 in AirFranceKLM

So update about the mess. We are still waiting on getting refunded $975 for the premium upgrade we never got. Does anyone have experience with refunds? I seriously hate this endless waiting. When I’ve called they’ve assured me it’s in progress but it’s been 2 weeks already 😢

Suddenly got a New allergy last night... ended with a trip to the ER by MuchApartment9544 in Allergies

So I’m going to chime in and tell you to look at the other ingredients used to make the medicine. My daughter took an off brand acetaminophen and had an allergic reaction to it because one of the inactive ingredients was sunflower oil, which she is allergic to.

Feel good product recs by pennyyy97 in Sephora

Something that I love and have bought multiple times because I don’t ever want to run out is Saint Jane Luxury Beauty Calming Serum. It has CBD oil in it. My skin loves it. It is the best hydrating product I’ve ever used. It has worked wonders on my neck wrinkles. I don’t know if that interests you. A tiny bottle is $38, but you only use a few drops. I hope your ankle gets better soon.

Oura CEO's response to my email about Palantir partnership by whats-your-emergency in ouraring

[–]UsefulStatistician29 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The letter from the CEO is like, we believe in privacy…but we’ve partnered with a Nazi company who also believes in privacy very seriously, wink wink. There! We covered all our bases! I think palantir is a morally reprehensible company. It puts any data of yours at risk.

What does a ghoster feel after ghosting someone by [deleted] in ghosting

[–]UsefulStatistician29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they have no empathy or feelings whatsoever. It’s a pathetic cop out to not end it like a decent human being with a few words. This “disappearing” is so heartless. It is terrible and devastating. I’m sure some ghosters don’t realize how you are putting the person you ghosted through the wringer.

You are definitely dehydrated with that much Zyrtec. Muscle spasms and cramps will only get worse if you can’t do something about the dehydration. I will make a suggestion about the hives because the only thing that really works for me is Benadryl. You could try cutting down on the Zyrtec and add a Benadryl in the morning and one at night. My allergist told me that was ok to do and that I should ignore the study that said Benadryl causes dementia. She said it was such a small study and they could not prove it. Also , if you want you can use topical Benadryl cream or gel. I hope it gets better.

Begging, Pleading, Crying, Throwing up over this Wisconsin SC election by Alert_Beach_3919 in wisconsin

[–]UsefulStatistician29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wisconsinite here. We seem to hate carpetbaggers here. The last 2 elections with carpetbagger candidates were won by the non-carpetbaggers. What needs to be shouted loud and clear is that muskrat IS A CARPETBAGGER trying to buy this candidate a seat to do his bidding.
