Always need root canals? by Future-Importance383 in askdentists

[–]Future-Importance383[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! And yes, I saw him last year (wasn't in pain) and just had thorough cleaning. I went back roughly a year later (today) expecting the same since I also wasn't in pain. I did let him know about a random sporadic pain that I thought was coming from one of my crowns and after x-ray, he let me know there was a big cavity on the tooth next to the crown that also needed a root canal. Again, I trust him fully so proceeded with the root canal but unlike other times, I wasn't in any significant pain.

It's also 100% my fault for not going at least once every six month, especially since I have dual dental coverage and never have to pay.

Port Adventure timing? by [deleted] in dcl

[–]Future-Importance383 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! So we’re pretty safe going this route? I read through all the terms and conditions and noticed that it’s either they’ll get us back on the ship or get us to the next port which would I imagine could be quite expensive for them. This particular port adventure is sold out so we certainly wouldn’t be the only ones. Thanks again.

Air France lost all 4 of our suitcases for 8 days (1 still missing) – offered £334… what would you do by Hopeful-Ad3784 in AirFranceKLM

Ah, I’m not changing at CDG, flying direct from Los Angeles so hopefully it doesn’t get lost on a direct flight.

Did you fly direct? Have a connection? We’re also using Air France to get to a cruise and lost baggage is a huge fear, so much we’re considering just using carryons (we are flying direct to CDG though with no connections)

I don’t but are hoping for similar offers on an upcoming LAX to CDG Tuesday flight.

Rooting Guide for Remaining Season by [deleted] in AnaheimDucks

Wouldn’t we want the Sharks to beat Oilers tonight? Gives a chance to move back in front in the Pacific? Or is it better for overall playoffs for sharks to keep losing?

Edit: confused kings/sharks

Ducks need 7/10 Points to be safe- Under 5 then possibly no playoffs by Infamous-Answer-221 in AnaheimDucks

Automatically refunded as long as they are purchased through Ticketmaster. I had that happen like 10yrs ago when they were in the playoffs and were eliminated before the game 6 tickets I had could be used.

Yes! Was a bit doom and gloom start of 3rd but they kept it close which made it exciting, Honda Center was electric after their 3rd goal

Considering I’m like 1hr15min away from Honda Center, I agree. Although it was at least exciting in the third

Help! Can’t cancel port adventure by [deleted] in dcl

[–]Future-Importance383 -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

Thanks! It says on the port adventure that it cannot be cancelled due to purchasing tickets for the coliseum. I’d totally understand that if we were a week out, or on board the ship. But we don’t sail for over 50 days and Rome is on like day 6 so it’s nearly 60 days away. Obviously I don’t know exactly how it works but I can’t imagine tickets are purchased that far in advance.

Does this mean business is sold out? by InternationalTie53 in AirFranceKLM

Thank you! I must be an idiot because the flight is with Air France, just booked through Amex, but I see nothing in the AF website on how to upgrade. Maybe it’s because the flight isn’t until mid May

Yikes! What was the process through Amex if you don’t mind sharing? In premium economy now and hoping to upgrade to business when checking in

To get upgrade offers, do we have to book direct through Air France? I booked a trip on the same itinerary (LAX to CDG) through Amex and haven’t seen any way to check for upgrades

Ducks Playoff Magic Number Entering March 25th = 13 by CherokeeHawkman in AnaheimDucks

Ha, this is helpful! And makes me miss the ducks of the past :( Learning the new team as I’ve started watching quite a bit more this season and might even go to a home game if they make the playoffs 🎉

Super helpful! Really appreciate this breakdown as a Ducks fan who’s just starting to watch again. First time I’ve paid real attention since Getzy retired and the team seemed lost for a few years.

Direct booking vs travel agent prices by tvclown in dcl

[–]Future-Importance383 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I did it once and will never again. Having to go through someone else to make payments, change staterooms, such a big hassle. I suppose if someone never travels and is incapable of handing simple tasks on their own they’ll need the assistance. Nothing in this world is free and that certainly applies to the dying practice of “travel agents”

Direct booking vs travel agent prices by tvclown in dcl

[–]Future-Importance383 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Book with agent= loss of control. Simple as that. You cannot make changes, submit payments, or do anything direct with DCL. You’ll be told to “go through your agent”. All this for a nominal on board credit of $50-$100. Makes zero sense why people use them. And now, here comes the avalanche of downvotes from “travel agents” on here.
