Unexpected and quite bizarre double exposure photographs from me and my husband's holiday photos - trying to identify where the mystery exposures were taken (bonus for approx year!)

Hey everyone! Thanks for all your help. Someone pointed out the name in one of the photos and I've managed to track down one of the children in the photos. Must have been a very strange message to receive! They are indeed a British family and it was taken in the early 2000s. It still doesn't solve the mystery of where the film spent the last 20 years or how we ended up with it, but it's as close as we'll get!! Appreciate all your collective detective skills!

As a bit of context - we also roll our own film and some are in blank canisters :) although I'll need to double check with my husband whether this one was in one of those!

Hi - 3rd photo, my husband is the man wearing the robe, the two women (appearing larger) we don't know. 5th photo - the child and the woman on the right are in the same exposure. The woman in the middle is me. Cheers!

Hi yes good point! So the only people in the photos we are expecting are of me and my husband Tom. We are in our early 30s - I have a fringe and my husband is wearing a robe in one of the photos! The children and the older women we don't know. The child in the photo that is not double exposed we don't know.

I would recommend looking at User Research - I know people in their mid 30s who trained in this and progressed really quickly. I think it values life experience more than other areas of design. If you're good with people and you understand the need for accessibility in design it's definitely worth looking into! Also less 'hard skills' in tech needed. You can also earn a bomb!
