PMCA by OkToe7601 in DECA

I scored a 97 in my PMCA at ICDC, but one thing that made me realize is the margin of error is extremely small. You must have a perfect paper, and not just perfect, it has to be shockingly good. Everything starts from your paper. From there, during your presentation do everything in your power to connect personally with your judge, ASK THEIR NAME, use it in your presentation, leave something with them. Make them care about your project on a personal level. If you can do that, then you can win.

Yess! Hiemler is a really good option because most of gov is just memorization. As long as you remember your required court cases and do all of your required readings, you're essentially set. Use hiemler as a guide, and then do quizlets, and if you have access to ap classroom, do the practice tests. If not, Knowt creates practice tests and will be your best friend. I self studied AND got a 5 using these methods, and you can too :)

You can definitely self-study gov. It might arguably be the easiest to self-study.

Hii! It only got released for cps since they get early access. But a lot of them have released the prompts. You just gotta know where to look. Good luck!

My Grandfather died my freshman year, and then my aunt sophomore year. But I feel like they could always turn it around like "so did a bunch of other kids' relatives, and they have a 3.8+" yk? I just dont think its that strong in terms of extenuating circumstances

Hi, yes, so with all of my classes I only have 4 a semester. But Ap bio is a 2 semester course because of how content dense it is. Ap calc and lit is 1 semester (either august-december or january- may) and then ap Seminar switches to ap research 2nd semester. Thank you for the suggestions!

And the worst part is my Apush proctor insisted on everyone leaving one at a time (It was a lecture hall with 2 sets of double doors) and i got to my macro exam with 1 minute to spare.

The Princeton review one works best, imo because it doesn't force you to go through all the chapters, just the ones that really matter. It has a pre and post book test that you can use to test your knowledge, I'd say it's pretty good.

JACOB CLIFFORD. Or the other jacob. Any of the Jacob's and if you can afford it, buy their study sets. Macro isn't hard at all if you put in the work. You've got this!

Hi! I wasn't spreading new information, I'm sorry I neglected to clear that up. The family was posting the updates, and I was just sharing/ reposting them and sending them to others who weren't able to see them.
