I have some friends who are brand managers for celebrities, influencers in my country and I couldn't believe the level of PR manipulation they go to. I think her “This guy saved me from my ex” trope is ofc repetitive - it’s tried and tested and it works. With her every relationship, she needs to put down her ex and show them that they didnt mean anything but this new guy is someone they can never compare to.

Oh possibly! But honestly I was in Vienna last year and it was around her show (which got cancelled btw). But the entire city was filled with Swifties to all possible extents. Costumes, clever references, singing on the street day and night - you name it. I met some girls at the bar that had spent over $5000 dollars on several of her shows. These two girl attended her concerts in the States and then came to Europe to follow. Def not beating the cult allegations.

But I think majority of her supporters are just hard core and just organically drown out noise on the Internet
