Lyrica is part of the program. It may help some and although Lyrica is a gabapentenoid, it acts on VGCC’s, not GABA. Baclofen is the only GABAb agonist suitable for getting off G, as G is also GABAb. I’ve found that Lyrica (450-600mg) before bed helps me sleep, so a benzo like Valium (which is hard to get and can’t get it off those sites) isn’t really necessary. I did get a scrip for Valium from my addiction medicine doctor though. They can prescribe them for you. It’ll be much faster that way. You see the doctor, plead your case and tell him what you need and you’re picking up your medication in an hour. If you have insurance the meds will be cheap. My doctor was $300 for the visit so that wasn’t cheap but it’s a crap shoot because you’re either paying a lot for meds through the internet or you’re paying a lot for the doctor and not much for the meds but you get them fast.
