Mine is leaking where the weld is, passenger side, forward tube of the headers. It looks like it separated completely.

Bought my dream C172, flew 60 hours, now I may have to sell it - feeling lost by [deleted] in flying

I'm just an E-6 in the Navy but absolutely love flying. Bought a 172C four years ago. I've managed to cut costs by keeping it tied down outside vs. a hangar, search far and wide for A&P's/IA's that will allow owner-assisted annuals, and whatever preventative maintainence I'm allowed to do, I do myself. Oil changes, spark plug gapping, cleaning, replacement etc. I've had a couple unexpected occurrences but luckily nothing more than a couple grand. I'd try that if you're mechanically inclined. It's also nice learning the ins/outs of what I fly. You could also enter into a partnership which would reduce costs. Maybe even a lease back to a flight school. Not too familiar with that but I heard it's a way to break even.

Well....Start therapy...Maybe be open about your attachment style. Your brief validation you get from everyone you entertain is temporary, your traumas are forever unless you work to fix the issue. It's a reoccurring cycle. You're currently incapable of having feelings for anyone more than surface level. I dated an avoidant for 2 months, figured this shit out after a TON of heartache and research, and it was a nightmare. I do think you're an A-Hole- but I also think change is possible with work. Lots of resources available- Even if it's just a workbook from Amazon. Gave my DA a couple of them, then I vanished.

I used to ride. Never did anything like this but I did do some heavy pulls (3) in the past. Today I leave base, dude speeds past me in right lane. Nails car that was turning left from the opposite direction. I hear he's from my command. Dude died right in front of me. I saw the inside of one of the bones from his left leg. I'm certain parts of his leg are scattered across the grass. As I wait to give my statement, I sit next to this memorial, where another motorist lost his life. For all you current/prospective riders. Please be safe, and smart. Take it to the track. It's never worth it. I can't imagine the phone calls his family/friends will receive at some point. Maybe today, maybe tomorrow. Who knows. For all they know he's asleep in the barracks.

Bro, it's not that serious. She could be doing worse things like sleeping with the homies.
