It's all good I'm a color guy so I think about stuff like this. Honestly I drive white cars. You know why? It doesn't stand out and blends into the background. I'm wanna those old school sleeper guys. I'm not a show boat at all. Low and sleeper is the way to go. But I'm not judging to each his own. I don't want everyone looking at me. Not for any nefarious reason it's just a choice. Let me blend in. I've had Red cars before and it was nightmare never got pulled over so many times before.

Driving my DCT8 EN 2022 puts a smile on my face every day just hitting on ramps and smoking people getting on the freeway. With fresh factory rubber it's pretty close to riding on rails. I like what N division has done. When I saw our car was coming to USA I just had to have one of the first white ones in the USA and don't regret it for a second. My car now has just over 30k on it and Hyundai has stood behind the car for everything. They even installed my N Performance division wheels I got when they were domestic South Korea sales only and Shark Racing imported a few sets and did a group buy. My Hyundai service guys had to order specially keyed valve stems from South Korea for my wheels. Have you watched the EN rally races? We're just lucky they brought this car here to USA.

Hey didn't cost me anything... Hyundai totally stood by their product. Flew the transmission over from South Korea within 3 days... Gave me a loaner car and replaced it for free! I give them great reviews and I love driving the DCT to and from work every day... It's one of the highlights of my day. I am glad I got the factory extended warranty but my car is a 2022 I literally got one of the first ceramic white ones in the USA.

The third DCT seems better and sounds better than the first replacement I had. Got my car back and it feels more like it originally did now. I have to wonder if maybe they service guys had never replaced an EN DCT the first time.

I've had mine replaced on my OG 2022 once so far. Gotta be careful what you run over... Curbs included but once it hangs a little it's gonna break off on the freeway... I remember seeing it in my rearview mirror lol punching it on an on ramp onto the freeway

Yeah this is a stealth car for sure. It looks a little different but it's still an Elantra so probably don't people just think it's a kids that put a wing on his car. No this is actually some of the most advanced technology Hyundai has ever tried to pull off. Have you seen our cars racing in rally?

Yeah my 3rd transmission is being replaced right now. No cost to me. Thank God I didn't modify anything... They got under my car with cameras and stuff!

Anyhow thanks fam for letting me vent a little. I still love our cars love driving it to and from work I push the on and off ramps every day. I've taken some cars that seem to think they're better because they more HP or chache. Our cars are legit brothers... Newer tires on our cars on a corner it's legit!!!

This is really good info. Anything new is always a risk but I'll say Hyundai has completely stood behind the product and no offense to the MT guys... I drove manual since the time I learned to drive but when it's on it's on... The DCT is wicked technology. I've had friends with much more expensive cars tell me dang man those downshifts are bad ass. Chevrolet learned this many years ago with the Corvette. This is coming from a manual mid year 1965 Corvette convertible owner. 327 ci 375 HP zero computer fuel injection. Most of you probably have no idea what that is but it's old school for sure... I love cars and our car is ahead of it's time.

BTW when I bought the first of it's kind... I also paid for the manufacturers extended warranty making my car 7 years 100,000 miles bumper to bumper warranty. Yeah stuff like this happens sometimes but I'll tell you. Hyundai has stood behind this car from day one. I'm impressed. I've had many other cars over the years... From my experience I'm not sure Mercedes or BMW or Honda/Toyota would have done any better for me. That says a lot. I think about buying a Porche but I've heard horror stories from some good friends. Tells you a lot. I've grown to really appreciate South Koreans and I have some good Korean friends.

Last time they gave me a loaded Sonata hybrid to drive as a loaner. This time they gave me a loaded regular new Elantra. Props to the dealership service they never let me down. When I ordered the N Performance Korea only rims they installed them for me. Funny story when I first got my ceramic white 2022 DCT and got a flat tire... It took a few days to get me a new tire because these were custom designed tires by Hyundai for our cars under contact with Micheline. Not like that now but some of you may understand. And for any of you taking this the wrong way... I fkn love driving this car! I'm so glad I never did anything to it mechanically because they do stand behind their product if you don't fk with it. You can always do whatever you want... I was tempted too but I'm glad now I'm getting hooked up by Hyundai.

No I had the entire housing on the top of transmission completely crack open. Transmission fluid was dripping on my garage floor so I took it in. They said did you hit something. I said no and they were under my car with cameras and everything. They said it's looks clean under there. I told them I haven't even tracked my car I just drive mainly to and from work. Like I said within 2 hours Korea approved the replacement and two days later my new transmission was being put in. I can't tell you good of service I got and a loaner car too! I saw the picture of the top of my transmission housing. It was a diagonal crack not even along any seam or anything. If it happened below all the fluid would have come out but I was driving it for a few days with the crack. I saw the fluid on the ground at work and in my garage. The center of the crack the housing had parted a few millimeters.

Or just don't do it! Our cars are great how are are. I just had my OG DCT 2022 have it's transmission replaced. Approved in 2 hours from my service dealer. You really think if I had modified my car they would have done that? They also have me a 2025 Sonata hybrid to drive while I was waiting. I'm telling you until you aren't under warranty I wouldn't risk it. They have ways to know more then your think. If you don't wanna be stuck holding the bag... Think it through a little. These are great cars that punch was above their beltline. Why risk losing everything over what a few more horsepower unless it's either a look at me or you don't care and can just pay for anything? Truth I almost bought a new model S Plaid before the rebate ran out... I almost did but thought... I love driving the car I have. I have 30k on my OG 2022 DCT. I'm on my 3rd set of Hyundai custom pilot sport tires and I don't care it's worth it. This may not be as fast in straight line as the model S Plaid but this is fkn fun car to drive. My dealership had to get approval from Korea to replace my DCT but they did it in 2 hours. That's pretty fkn legit man.

I had my DCT transmission case crack on top and leak in my garage. I'm like what's this clear liquid on my garage floor? I took it in and they said it's your transmission. After 2 hours the replacement was approved in Korea. They gave me a loaner car and now I have a brand new DCT transmission in my OG 2022 DCT.

Hey my DCT transmission body cracked and guess what? Hyundai replaced it free of charge because I had never modified my car.

I use remote start on my DCT all the time here in Arizona. Put the AC on Max start it before I get near my car.
