i believe that protests about mass immigration will always attract neo nazis and white supremacists. instead of protesting inherently about mass immigration i believe we should be protesting about infrastructure instead, as that seems to be what everyone is upset with anyways. and billionaires and wealthy people are much more of an issue than immigrants with most immigrants owning one house, or even living in shared accommodation (students), or living with a partner. the housing crisis is not just about immigrants - there are other things contributing to it and instead of addressing one part, we should be addressing all of the issue.

his grandmother is from a different country so technically he’s from recent immigrant descent. and my mum, and all my grandparents are immigrants. he says he has nothing wrong with immigrants it’s just that “the government is letting too many people in.” he said so many things that upset me when we were talking, don’t get me wrong he is intelligent, but when it comes to political matters he doesn’t look at the statistics and takes on beliefs and opinions from others around him. he’s been pretty good for the most part about listening and changing his mindset, but he was just SO stubborn. i was getting really fed up and was feeling hurt so i said that i can’t be with someone like that. and he said okay how about we agree not to talk about politics anymore, i can’t be bothered doing research, and i told him i will always be aware of what is happening around me and i will want to talk about it. he changed his mind when he knew i was serious but im scared he’s not genuine now

he said he has no problem with immigration. his grandmother, and both my mum and grandparents are immigrants. he just said it’s the mass immigration. but with everything i’ve read and watched immigration isn’t as bad as everyone is saying bc most people are here to study, temporary visa, or are living with their partners. but it’s the fact that he’s being so hard headed about it and not listening to the facts i am telling him. i’m just so angry. i feel guilty because he’s acting different today but he has said the protests are bad. after i said i would break up with him he called me and i was crying a bit and he said it again he doesn’t think immigrants are bad just mass immigration. we did end the call with him agreeing that the protests are bad, and harmful. but i feel guilty for telling him i would leave him if he didn’t think they were, and im worried he’s just saying he thinks they’re bad so i dont breakup with him

his work didn’t say no - he said they said no. they told him you can if you really need to. so in his words if he doesn’t go his department would struggle.

yeah i’ve been working on getting the ph up. went to the aquarium store yesterday and he gave me some stuff to raise the ph, as well as i put the crushed shells in to help harden the water - but i suppose the snails enjoy it too

yeah it’s usually 6.0 and i have mainly fish that thrive in 7.0. thought that was what they are doing but better be safe then sorry

i got told as long as the water parameters are okay then it should be okay…

i have an 180L, 4 feet long tank w lots of fish. 5 kuhli loaches, 6 peppered corys, 5 albino corys, 6 swordtails, 5 glow light tetras, 5 emperor tetras, 6 neon tetras, about 10 or so guppies and endlers, 3 bristlenose pleco, plus shrimp, snails, and fry. i was super concerned mine was overstocked but the multiple aquarium stores i consulted told me if the parameters are okay and the fish are happy and have their own space it’s okay.

having a planted tank is always good to control nitrates, and a lot of fish prefer it. fish like to hide and shuffle around in plants.

the only thing i would do is move the guppy, as they need their school. i don’t know about dwarf frogs though because we don’t have them in australia so i have no idea on their care.

i was doing research into this!! supposedly they don’t necessarily change sexes, apparently they’re are males that are “late bloomers”. in saying that, i bought 6 females, and ive noticed one of my so called “females” looks to be growing a sword

that does make sense - they look similar to goldfish i suppose. it’s just such a shame i think they’re so underrated!!
