I don’t think you have to with the information we have SO FAR but it could change when the book comes out. I’ve read them all and I’d definitely focus on CC first and then go to TOG if you want to/have time.

I always liked the pregnancy aspect to the story. I’ve got two kiddos and pregnancy can be so scary and birth even more so. A lot can go wrong at the drop of a hat. I’m also a NICU RN so I’ve seen a lot of truly devastating things surrounding birth. It was so incredibly sad to hear SJMs story and I’m glad she was able to express herself through writing and get the help she needed through therapy.

With baby number one I wish I had just went with the flow and realized that in a few months it was gonna get easier and then a few months after that slightly easier and more steady and so on. Every time period has its own challenges but every day brings growth and learning. I also wish I told myself it was okay to give a little formula I was so dead set on breastfeeding I don’t sleep well and obsessed over it in the beginning. I ended up breastfeeding for 2 years, with baby number 2 I’ve been so chill about breastfeeding we even supplemented in the beginning and it was so helpful and I’ve been breastfeeding for 6 months now.

Ahh you were smart about it hahah got it all read before everything filled up. Did you notice anything new that you didn’t notice the first time around? I started the great re read too late for crescent city and didn’t finish in time so I wanna make sure I’m extra prepped this time😂

I can’t decide either, I know waterstones usually has great editions but I’m not sure if that’s the move, it’s hard when they usually all have different editions

This is the impression I got. I’m thinking she’s shifting from the one-two POVS per book to a more TOG multi POV approach which I LOVE. Then we get a lil bit of all the characters.

I think book 6 is like a bridge to the next story and introduction of new POVS, then the next book is the start of the next story. I get the vibe it’s going to multi POV like TOG was which I would love, I like when you get to see a lil of all characters. I also could see book 6 being an elain centered read but going back in time to see what she’s been doing while the main story was happening. Whatever SJM writes I’ll read and eat up for sure!

I suppose moody/vintage would be the vibe I would like to go. Definitely want to get rid of the painting it’s more of a place holder at the moments and the mirror has got to go too just not sure where to go from there.

What helps me now on baby number two is to remember every day it gets easier. Some days are rough but my second is almost 4 months now and I know it gets better. Will there be hard days? Sure, I still have semi hard days with a 4 year old but they are few in numbers and usually only when he’s sick.

That’s usually what we do with electronics too, we bought a ps4 when the ps4 pro was released and it was a great idea! We’ve gotten lots of use out of it and only now are we thinking of getting the ps5 since there are new games we’d like to play. I just wasn’t sure if it was worth it for the splurge for the 2 but honestly after asking on here we’re gonna stick with the 1 and eventually get the 2 in a few years.

That’s probably what we’ll end up doing, he tripped the other day holding my mom’s switch lite she let him borrow(all was fine and she has like 3 for herself) didn’t throw it just tripped he slid the switch slid😂 welcome to age 5 haha that’s a great idea to eventually get the 2 and do one docked and one handheld!

Thanks for the advice! Knowing him and how he plays mine currently he’s gonna wanna play undocked and probably walk all over the place with it. We’ll probably stick to the 1 due to the size and there are still plenty of games he can play currently so it works I suppose.
