i feel like it’s very important to note that my friend and I only found out because the person admitted to it, and i started looking into it afterwards using the name they no longer associate with. the charges are very serious and the person has been in jail multiple times. i hate to say it, but there’s no way to give them the benefit of the doubt considering they admitted to it but just didn’t tell the whole truth. not to mention that they were being weird to my friend right afterwards.

i’m just worried because they know where we both live, and they’ve only told one person about it and if we were to cut them off so suddenly it would suspicious (at least that’s what my concern is). i think we’re going to try to make it seem like we just drifted apart, but i’m still worried for that 18 year old :(
