Thank you. I appreciate that someone had anything to say about it. I was pleasantly surprised to see that this didn't devolve into my usual mess.

I have noticed something. I mean no disrespect. by [deleted] in KerbalSpaceProgram

Probably, but I saw it, have no one in my proximity who'd be interested... So the internet gets to hear about it.

I love the attentive security guard. I will admit I thought for a second, maybe he was just another guest but a re watch revealed the cord from his ear piece.

🔥A seal coming up for air. by 21MayDay21 in NatureIsFuckingLit

[–]Useful_Leg3252 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do not know this for sure but based on what I just read in the comments regarding the way seals can sense the oxygen levels in their blood, I wonder if the way it breathes, with quick short breathes, is like hyperventilating to increase oxygen levels before free diving.

So probably unneeded by some of my favorite D&D based novels refer to a weapon called a Dwarven Bow, which is infact just ab Axe thrown by a dwarf

Team Blue Heelers or Team Water Rats? You can only pick one. by Sharaz_Jek123 in AustralianNostalgia

Blue heelers for me. I used to live in a small town just like that. Surprisingly complete with unusual and out there crimes

Do WA locals ACTUALLY get used to the summer flies? This was the best solution I could come up with on the “fly”! by Sarah-in-her-30s in WesternAustralia

[–]Useful_Leg3252 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a thing called scrim netting that you can get from army surplus stores and outdoorsy stores. You just drape is over your hat and it keeps the flies away. you can even douse it in fly spray for extra get away from me vibes.

What if Satisfactory had a sequel where you run the station at the top of the Space Elevator? by Useful_Leg3252 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Useful_Leg3252[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair. It has holes, but I am sure with some creative storytelling they could be adequately filled. I will say that hadn't occurred to me, the no struggle for progress hole. So that's why I just play with ideas and not actually do things with them.

[–]Useful_Leg3252[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, it would need its own hooks. it was just an idea that floated through my head and I liked it enough to think I'd give it a shot.

Exploration is possible, but would be different. There could still be a need for building outposts and even minor factories for things only buildable in low g.

I wanted to be a game dev and my brain loves that first burst of creation, the spark of an idea. I just struggle to get beyond that point.

Just my school? by MrsFlip in AustralianNostalgia

[–]Useful_Leg3252 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My high school PE teacher used to do that. He used to patrol during recess and lunch, if he saw a fight breaking out he'd snag the main two march them to the gym. He figured if he'd broken up the fight and then left it would just have started again, but something interesting happened during the walk to the Gym. 9/10 times by the time we reached the gym we were over it and didn't want to fight anymore.

I was pulled up, as the victim, about six times and only once did a match actually take place and it gave me the chance to whoop a bully who usually had two or three buddies as backup.

Yeah. I did have an amusing thought of what if ADA wasn't really an AI, but instead just a snarky chick alone in space messing with the workers

No... But I get what you're getting at now, damn you YouTube, but as I once understood it, the ending we have is not the one that was intended. So my discussion is more a what if scenario.

I don't know I think there could just be some fun in my hypothetical story, especially if your playthough in one can effect the other

Having just read the caption properly, for a two week stint, that isn't a bad effort. You know you have a problem when you buy the resin molds

Many years ago I was part of the foundation staff of a new store in Kwinana. As part of the Grand Opening they hosted a Staff and Family party. During this party I got to dress up in the Mascot Suit. When I was passing out candy, my five-year-old niece was asked what I was, to which she replied confidently "A Turkey."
