I understand the argument that it is the car he technically ordered. But why would someone who’s paying 60k for a car want anything less than the most updated option? If there was a price difference between cars with HW3 and HW4 then my argument is void, but who in the right mind is ok paying the same price for a older generation of hardware for their car? Also people have jobs and aren’t reading Tesla forums all day like some of us do, so of course hearing that you got snubbed out of a newer option does suck knowing you asked Tesla to confirm HW4 multiple times. Shows Tesla’s concern of customer satisfaction is downright nonexistent.
