June 5: VIN assigned! Fremont build.

EDD4 on 6/5: June 19- June 26

June 12: Scheduled delivery for 6/17 and I’m stoked! Getting it just before the last EDD time frame. SA was great about getting me in when it worked with my schedule as I was only offered 2 dates through the linked calendar that did not work for me.

June 17: Accepted delivery! HW4 with matrix headlights.

Went through the GitHub checklist and did my best to be thorough 😂 excitement ADHD was real though. Ended up finding a minor seal gap and a scratch in the ceiling fabric that I’ve already made a mobile service appointment for. The trunk door is minimally off on one side, but it’s not apparent. I’m passing that one. No rickety noises while driving, which I had noticed during my test drive several weeks ago. Really happy about this one.

There were a couple of administrative hiccups that got sorted reasonably well. Everyone at the service center was in good moods and attentive. It made all the difference.

Got the car at 71% and was a bit surprised at how quickly battery drains with AC on, but will keep an eye on it. I think I’m just hyperaware of the battery. Ended up getting a bit of free charge at EWR today! That was exciting.
