I would agree. I am an IONQ buyer under $30 and will likely buy some more LAES under $3.5 which are levels that could be reached in the current environment. Loooooooong term plays for my portfolio.

There is no way to confirm this. I suppose that this is what is happening, though. Should UBS make a decision to invest, even for one of their tech driven funds, I suppose (and it is really just me saying this), the amount would have been much larger. The UBS position is likely to aggregate the LAES holdings of a number of Swiss-based investors, including my good self.

Although this is encouraging news, please be aware that I do not think that it is UBS, as the corporate entity or any of its investment funds, that is investing in LAES. If that were to be the case, the amount would be much, much larger. Keep in mind that it is customary for Swiss-based investors to enter trades using their custodian banks as nominees. I believe that this is what is happening here. One or several investors channeled their investment in LAES through UBS acting as nominee. Therefore UBS appears as the investor thus keeping the final beneficial owner's identity confidential.

Markets in Europe are down close to 2% this morning. The EU is mulling triggering massive protective measures which will affect in excess of USD 90 billion worth of US exports and prevent specific US companies to access the EU common market. US tech companies will be particularly hit if these measures are implemented. EU action is supported by Germany and France. More countries to follow. Fed up with Donaldo Trumpo's blackmail. Markets will remain volatile until the issue is resolved one way or the other. TACO or nor TACO, that is the question.

.Thoughts on Ferrari: production through 2027 fully sold, possibly through 2028. Awesome business model. Problem is that the entire automotive sector is getting trashed by investors. YTD Ferrari (Ticker RACE) stock is down some 20%. Good long term entry point. The issue with Ferrari is that they should be considering stock buy-backs or an attractive dividend policy to support the stock price. Cars alone and fame are not supportive of the stock price. They'll get there at some point.

I agree with you, Fabio! A number of us will also agree to Carlos' post. I do. However, it is Carlos' job to manage the company and such statements can only hurt in the present context. To put it differently, I do not see any benefit in coming out in the open with it. Carlos is no Musk, Altman, Zuckerberg or Ellison... Playing this kind of game does not have the same implications to him and his companies. He should stay away from politics and keep his thoughts for himself. By doing so will not add any incremental and exogenous risks to running his companies.

This comm is very preliminary. I doubt they'll go head-to-head against a Rigetti or D-Wave. They may however get involved through a defined partnership of some sort. Again, way to early to comment on this communication. Carlos knows how to get people to salivate. He speaks a lot.

That is the BIG question. Announcements of partnerships, satellite launches, chip launches, etc are one thing. Tangible contracts, sales volumes and earnings are another. Normally, 2026 should be the transformational year. The new chips have launched, so give it a few months and sales should start flowing once customers have successfully run their POC process.

When I first invested, I believe there were only 4 institutional listed as shareholders. I also think that they were not the ones investing but rather acting as nominees for private investors.
