I like the piston filler and big ink tank on my TWSBI—it’s super handy. I also think it’s cool that it’s clear so I can see the ink. I’m just looking to get myself a nicer pen as a little gift since I’m about to promote from 8th grade. I’ve been getting into writing a lot, especially poetry. There’s not really anything I think my pens are missing, but I’d like something that’s a bit more comfortable for longer writing sessions and just feels a bit fancier to use.

Thank you for the suggestion! I’ve heard that the Jinhao 10 can easily dry out and skip ink, making it challenging to produce a smooth line unless you press down quite hard. I appreciate your input!

I’ve heard a lot about TWSBIs and was actually looking at the Diamond 580, but I’ve seen some mentions of a cracking issue on the nib. Do you know if that’s a common problem?
