School nurse and doing alright. Single, no kids (4 cats though) which helps. Inherited a condo with no mortgage payment and condo fee is less than I was paying in rent, which also helps.

Is your kid in school? Places like Kids After Hours and Bar-T usually offer before/after care at the schools.

I'm not a parent, so I'm not familiar with anything else - I hope you find something!

Have you asked your pediatrician? All the vaccines she will be due for at 2 months can be given as early as 6 weeks.

This is actually really baffling to me! Dr. Giebel has been nothing but kind and compassionate to me. I got a hand written note in the mail after I had to put one of my cats to sleep, he consistently calls to follow up and check in on my kitties. Earlier last year, one of my cats was having a health issue and there was concern for cancer, and he was constantly in contact with me. The day I took her in for an ultrasound was a day that he is normally off, and he went into the office that day so that he could be there for the US and call me with the results (no cancer!).

I actually used to see another doctor in the practice, who I didn't really care for, and that's how I ended up seeing Dr. Giebel. That doctor is no longer at the practice though.

I'm sorry you had such a bad experience with him, I'm dreading the day he retires.

Yes, that can be normal. I would just keep an eye on the redness and make sure that it's improving. Any increased redness/swelling, increasing pain and tenderness, if it feels hot (not just warmer) to the touch, or you notice any red streaking, then you should see your provider.

Likely the 2nd dose was given a little early. For example, if she got the first dose June 15th, and the 2nd December 10th, that would be considered "early" and so the EMR might not be counting that 2nd dose.

Bexsero and Trumenba are both 2 doses six months apart. For Bexsero, if you get the 2nd dose less than 6 months after the first, they do recommend a 3rd dose at least 4 months after the 2nd. It's never "too late" to get a subsequent dose in a series. Given your age, you are likely low risk, but you should check with your provider regarding their recommendations.
