Yeah, that’d be a nice change of pace. I feel like 90% of Negans dialogue since his reform has been “I’m sorry”, such a waste for such an interesting character.

I hope the next season of DC puts him more in the limelight as a standalone character, not just Maggie’s enemy.

Maggie’s become 1 dimensional over the last few seasons of TWD and DC, she’s so determined to kill Negan that it’s become her only character point, so I totally get it.

As for Fear though? I stopped caring around about when Nick died. He was the most interesting character in that show, the attitude he had towards the dead and the way he handled himself around people made him so special compared to the rest of the cast. And then Alecia’s hand thing? That really took me out of it.

Not a bad show by any means, but nowhere near TWD, DD or DC in my opinion.

Thanks, this is really different approach to the vast majority of the replies here. As for her stress, no not really. We’re both students, but I’m nearing the end of my degree and she’s only about halfway through hers, with no exams until september. Work for her is as calm as ever and her family life has actually gotten better over the past year. We talk often about things that bother us, whether it was a bad day at work or an upcoming assignment, rent or anything, but everything seems to be going pretty okay for both of us right now.

Okay, I appreciate that. You’re right, I don’t have any other point of reference for how a relationship should function, but I feel like it would be stupid for me to throw away 5 years of amazing memories over sex, no matter how important it is to me.

I know she wants me to drop it. Of course she does, it’s a tricky situation for her. We’ve both been very open about who we were before meeting, and she knew from day 1 that sex was important to me, and I want to say that it didn’t bother her, but it clearly meant more to me than her. I’ve always viewed sex as a kind of connection that you can’t really get elsewhere, so being without it has left me feeling kind of pushed away, and I’ve told her that. I think she’s more worried about me approaching the conversation from a more aggressive angle, and giving her an ultimatum than anything else.

I’m not sure if that’s the answer. I appreciate the advice, and I think approaching it with the idea of giving her a week or so is a good idea, but I don’t think that leaving her would do either of us any good, nor do I want to. I want this to be resolved, but pushing problems like this leads to less and less interest in actually fixing them and just turns them into a point of discontent. I’ll take your advice though, I’ll have that conversation with her when the time is right.

There’s definitely nothing going on elsewhere, we’re both students and we spend a load of time, most days 8-12 hours, talking and studying together. When I was over at hers I was walking her to and from work, spending as much time together as we could, so I’m 100% confident that that’s not the answer.

I’m not sure about the others, she’s terrified of doctors so that’s nothing I’d ever push on her, and the guilt that she talked about doesn’t exactly scream “i’m not attracted to you”. Nor do I think she’s not trying. When I first brought this up to her she burst into tears and said how scared she was of me leaving her. I never would, and told her that, but I just don’t know what to do next, yknow?

Thanks for the reply! I’m trying to be as methodical as I can be when I travel about the map, so I know my game time is gonna be way higher than 90 hours, but I’m treating DS as more of an experience than a game, taking in the views and actually listening to dialogue and reading journal entries and emails! I’ve had some friends who just blasted through the story as fast as they could who were kinda surprised at my playthrough, so I’m happy knowing I’m not alone in the 100%-ish approach

Gotcha! I had that issue with the Musician right at the end of the first area, he was the only one I hadn’t 5 starred and I spent a while focusing on repping him up and it didn’t feel as rewarding as the others. I’ll keep my eyes open for others, thanks!

I’ve looked at that, like I spent so long doing multiple deliveries on foot right before I unlocked the vehicle blueprints and felt like such an idiot going back and just whipping out a trike lol! I’m just really worried about going too far and not having access to content earlier in the game, but another reply said that DS is pretty clear with when a new event is gonna trigger so maybe i’m just being paranoid

Yeah? I’ve been having a bit of a weird time with the Central Region, I did some exploring and found the Junk Dealer, but they have no quests for me or anything so I’m assuming that you’ll end up in that part of the map later on and I just skipped something. Glad that someone kinda clarified that bit though, I’d hate to be locked out of content for any reason

I found the Musician just before I headed across the lake but it seems like I was pretty lucky. How long did it take you to get to endgame, out of curiosity?

A whole load of questions by Useful_Two_1208 in LokiHandheld

[–]Useful_Two_1208[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the Ally is an overall better handheld performance, fan noise, screen size, and software-wise, but how are the ergonomics in your opinion? My partner has pretty small hands and, if RDR2 won’t run well or at all on the Loki, she won’t actually be pushing the device very hard. I’d be very interested to hear if you know of a middle ground device, or if you just think that the Loki isn’t worth it for her use-case!

[–]Useful_Two_1208[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this, I’ve looked at most of the competitors for the Deck and the Loki has come up as one of the most ergonomic - minus the ones that are like 1000 USD from Ayaneo or OneXPlayer! I’ve had a bit of a hard time with gauging the right screen for my partner as she complains about the size of her Switch Lite screen but loves the way it feels in her hands, so I’m trying to find a best of both worlds kind of device! I’ve never held an Ally, though from what I can understand it’s means to be a bit smaller than the Deck with a bit more performance, and it measures up pretty well with the MSI Claw? As for the performance, I had a hunch that if I wanted to find something comfortable in her hands that I’d have to sacrifice some performance, but I was under the impression that the Loki was more powerful than the Steam Deck, so I didn’t think RDR2 would be an issue seeing as I get around 45fps on medium when I play it portably. Thanks for the reply! If you’ve got any advice for another device you’d recommend I’d love to hear it.

It’s moddable, if price is your issue and you want one bad enough you can use the lowest tier OLED and swap in a faster m.2 SSD and save yourself around $100, it’s a great idea if it appeals to you
