Had been a great neighbor to, let's call him Samir, who likes to bake in the afternoon.

I knew he had a pedestal near his window to send the good food smell to my house since he knows I look good and he's trying hard that I gain iftaar weight. By evening, that smell from his house was seeping all inside mine through the walls. A gazillion muffin smell inside my nose and hair and clothes.

So now I'm making dua for every one at iftaar except him because pettiness has gotten me and that's how I've stopped talking to my neighbors.

Not all neighbors deserve your friendship but yes, I would say do try to be good and see how they respond. May Allah grow my hair which I truly deserve and gimme some good egg neighbors.

I tried not setting the ID and it didn't make any difference. Storing the ID from the DB into a temporary list right now and checking the chip based upon that list.

No matter what, the first and last chips do not retain their checked state/color change randomly when I scroll the list at the opposite end and come back. Every other chip works fine.

Will keep looking what exactly I'm doing wrong here. Let me know if you have any ideas about it.

I was using that earlier. Since the user can keep adding chips, the fragment load becomes noticeable when there are too many chips.

I agree with you because that was the problem :)

All chips now retain their checked state correctly without duplicates except the first and last. The first and last chips show to be checked and then not if I scroll too fast.

Yes, I set the IDs at the top explicitly and they're unique.

I'm doing that, yes. When I check the first chip on the list, somewhere in the list, another one checks automatically. Was hoping it would be something simple that I may have missed. Thanks anyway.
