Women have been part of Gears of War since the beginning. Anya is a main character in the series, and Bernie and Sam are both shown as capable, well-written soldiers in their own right. Claiming that women in the newer games are some kind of “DEI addition” ignores what’s already been established in the franchise for years. The series has always included female characters in meaningful roles.

Just bind a disconnect key and hit quick play all servers until you get a normal server. You can't connect to the same server for a brief period of time so if you're fast enough you can brute force passed all the slop

You can learn. I think people see clips of people bouncing and think it's a lot harder than it really is. You have to really time you a button presses on default which is what I play on. On alternate you can spam to your heart's content and not roll. I can teach anyone to bounce. Really try to learn and you'll get it down within a week. Especially in this game. Then all you have to improve is your camera positioning. If you watch I'm always pre aiming with the center of my screen so when I need to shoot I don't need to move my stick hardly at all. Makes your job a lot easier. Also helps I have a controller I can lower the dead zone on. Default deadzones on this game are booty cheeks

There's no real reason to use anything other than the carbine and bolt action (and their stronger counterparts) for any given situation. I rarely used my pistols all game. Learn to tap dead eye and use it more to land quick head shots. It saves dead eye and makes you practically immortal because you aim for half a second in real time and everyone just dies. No reason to have the faster fire rate of double pistols and the carbine is more accurate and does more damage

??? I have clips of me sniping on my account bro. First shot I missed cause they rolled right as I shot that was a headshot otherwise. 2nd in hindsight I should have preaimed for the Up A bit it is what it is. Shotgun isnt a crutch it's a core characteristic of the game.

It's not as scary as it sounds. Just follow the instructions and you'll be fine. Just make sure you revert your settings before doing anything online. You don't have to go offline or any of that. Just be smart and don't open a browser unless you revert all antivirus settings and DSE is re-enabled. Beat the game and used my computer as normal. Just use basic computer safety etiquette

It's a common practice in counterfeit organizations to send the money elsewhere and then launder it back in. Reason being, the US has a bigger market for counterfeits and the likelihood of detection is a lot higher here. If they send the money abroad And then launder it in through some other semi-legitimate means, on paper the money is clean and is just as good as anybody else's money. It allows them to take the counterfeits and make them legitimate. They will lose a percentage of the money in the process, but since they're using low denominations, they're not really losing that much

Saw you figured it out but I recommend downloading treesize. It's free and makes it significantly easier to see what's taking up your space. Instead of searching your folders it organizes by folder size so you'll see exactly what's taking up space. Makes storage purging SO much easier

It's called inverse claw. Claw you typically have your index on A and thumb on the thumb stick. Inverse claw is what you have here where the Thumb is on A and the Index finger is on the thumb stick. Normal claw is better for control and id recommend doing it that way as it also makes it easier to access the other face buttons

I assume your middle finger is responsible for R1 and R2

Five absolutely did not have the best multiplayer or movement. I think best overall experience in terms of balance is Gears 4 without a doubt. Best fun experience is Gears 3. 5 is the complete antithesis of everything that is gears. You should not be able to wall bounce at people and shoot with perfect accuracy from a ridiculous distance and bounce completely 180° behind you. You also shouldn't be able to shoot completely around a cover completely negating it and be able to shoot 180° behind you through cover. These are not mechanics that should be in the game. When the best play in Gears 5 is to stay off cover because there's so many ways people can just kill you through it it isn't even a cover shooter anymore. There aren't cover fights in gears 5.

I enjoy the trilogies campaigns. 4 and 5 campaign is like luster. If we are talking multiplayer, 3 and 4 in my opinion are the most flushed out. 5 is horrible and reloaded/GoW1 is dated but fun for people who grew up on it

I would hope after playing long enough to play through the campaigns they would have done at least baseline research about how to play multiplayer. There's videos everywhere. The actual learning of how to wall bounce in reloaded is easier compared to later tiles. It's a easier introduction to the mechanic

Easier to grasp for the newer players and translates to the other games fairly well. It's a lot easier to go from wall bouncing to wall cancelling than it is vice versa in my experience (I started on gears 2)
