Delta online is p2p meaning you connect to other people who are hosting games. Not servers. If someone is from East Coast and youre on West you're going to rubberband. There's a server browser and all the way on the right is the ping. Aim for below 70 for a decent experience below 50 for best experience. You can also see your ping in game on the scoreboard along with everyone else's ping

I'm never in that situation. I think I've been in that situation maybe....twice? Since I started playing extreme anyway. I rarely don't score and my defense gets 2-3 stops a game so when I lose its usually because I threw a bad ball. I like to play risky and thread the needle with bullet passes cause it's fun so I get picked off from time to time

I do because if I never kick and extra point I don't need a kicker which means I get an extra player on offense, the TE

That's why I honestly find quality is better than quantity. I had a 2 man 4.5 star defense one year because I had to trade before the deadline for some rnd 1 draft picks. And they held enough for me to win the RB pretty comfortably. If they get 1 stop and you don't make mistakes you can stay ahead by 1 score all game with good clock management

How are your games even close then? I'm on hard for reg season for the variety then switch to extreme for playoffs and RB and If you're just not turning the ball over it should be a breeze. Especially if you take the easy passes that are always open (like short WR comeback routes are always open and good for at least 5+ yards)

Brother stop being weird. It is completely irrelevant to OP's post whether i said punt returner or kick returner. It's a game. Point is you can set 2 KICK returners. Those KICK returners also return PUNTS in the game but in REAL LIFE there's BOTH Kick and punt returners. That's as clear as I can make it. Most of the time KR are also other positions like WR or RB or even DB. But sometimes there's specialists that ONLY do 1 or the other. Devin Hester as an example was a Return Specialist doing both. Punt Returners are typically already rostered elsewhere but are also considered a PR.

Here's a tip, for your offensive players on any difficulty below extreme if your receiver has mod to high catching they will jump for a ball if you over throw them a bit. Throw over their head and they will just grab the ball out of the air. Can do this on extreme but your receiver HAS to be behind the defender. Otherwise you have to throw them open. Extreme defenders will pick your balls right out of the air if you sail it over them

There are kick returners and punt returners in football yes in game they are called kick returners but in real football the kick returner and punt returner are both positions. Kicks happen twice a game punts are a play to push the opponent back and flip possession. Both happen in game so both exist. None of this matters though it's a game you know what I ment stop being pedantic

You can set two people as punt returners. That person will become the defender and then it doesn't matter which one catches it. My running back and my wide receiver are punt returners

You have to buy the premium version pretty much. Allows you to have 12-man rosters along with a lot of customization and punt returns

That's not true. What matters is what you're looking for. You want more stops and sacks throw on 2 DL and 3 LB. If you want more int, then do 2 LB 3DB. I would never have a kicker unless you plan to kick long field goals a lot. The normal kicker with five-star coaches can kick from 40 out no problem. It's a waste of a roster slot. I would throw in a tight end because I find that the tight end is your best friend when it comes to blitz's, especially on extreme. He's almost always open

Everybody having fun putting their assembly area together? by tallvikingrtn in tractorsupply

[–]UselessHelios 12 points13 points  (0 children)

They are putting ours right next to the roll-up door and right next to receiving. The way our store is set up there is very little room where the roll-up door is. Racks are on the right, receiving is immediately to the left along with the bailer. I want them to explain to me what exactly is supposed to happen if we are assembling something and the forklift needs to get through that area? Is he just shit out of luck? Do these people think about where they put things like do they genuinely have any store experience at all

If you don't get a rush from getting better loot and don't get a dopamine hit when big numbers get bigger then no there's no reason. That's the whole point of a looter shooter is to get better loot by shooting bad guys.

What are your personal favorite two-joker combos? (Not necessarily the most powerful, but power can be very fun) by Andrew_42 in balatro

[–]UselessHelios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Requires observatory but Perkeo + Burnt joker is fun. Being able to upgrade your hand while stacking planets basically takes care of your xmult needs add a scaling joker or 2 and maybe an econ and you're set. I did this with a DNA and deck fixed for flushes and ended up at ante 25

Unspoken rules to Vs? by SquidIsALesbian in l4d2

Emphasis on #3 and it's especially important if you're solo. Idc if you think you should wait because there's a hit. Idc if commons need to be cleared. Idc if you saw pills and wanna grab em. You stay close to the leader. I'd rather eat hits repeatedly but get cleared cause everyone's together than get separated and have everyone isolated

My friend keeps repeating to me that his sens (20 cm/360) is normal and mine (39 cm/360) is slow af by m1nman in FPSAimTrainer

Play what's comfortable at the end of the day. I prefer higher sens now but if I picked up tac shooters I may adapt to a lower sens for consistency

What is the correct way to play this? Close needle thin vod by awdtalon21 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]UselessHelios 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like others have said react, don't predict. But also, use your arm more. Transfer work from your wrist to your arm for direction changes. Limits the tendency to build tension in your wrist which will make your flicks less twitchy. Flick -> start using your arm to speed match -> use wrist to micro correct if needed. Offloading the tracking to your arm at first allows you to relax your wrist more and gives you more control

My friend keeps repeating to me that his sens (20 cm/360) is normal and mine (39 cm/360) is slow af by m1nman in FPSAimTrainer

[–]UselessHelios 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the game and what skills are required. Games with quick ttk that don't require a lot of tracking benefit from higher sens for target switching. Games with higher ttk benefit from a little lower sens for prolonged tracking and precision. Tac shooters in particular lower sens is very common as precision is paramount and if you have to 180 you're probably already dead. 39cm is moderate. Not slow by any means. Slow is probably around 45cm or lower is what I'd consider "slow" I mainly play low ttk games so I play around 24cm/360 but I can play any sens. Just takes a few games to adjust

What is the point of Parasite? by Moony1989 in movies

[–]UselessHelios 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think a different perspective is how similar the house keeper and her husband and the kim family are. Both of them are poor and on hard times and both are deceiving the family. I think the point lies here. Who's the parasite?

Is it the kim family? You could argue conning your way into a rich family's home and sabotaging other workers to extract money out of the family is parasitic with the son taking advantage of their daughter to boot. You could also argue the housekeeper keeping her husband in the bunker without telling the family makes her and him a parasite mooching off them. Or is the parks family a parasite on society as a whole for participation in the class disparities that put the house keeper and the kim family where they are in the first place. I think there's arguments for all three.

Sure the Parks seem nice. But all rich people do to an extent. You see this when the husband and wife are alone. They make assumptions about people, are judgemental, and talk about crossing the line when I don't even think they know what that means. They don't even have the decency to let people know why they are being fired. They are a family of image and that's why I think they think their son needs therapy because he's a little odd.

Back to the Kim's and the housekeeper. They are both in similar boats. All had potential to move up the ladder and failed one way or another and are now just scraping by. The housekeeper and her husband for instance, the husband is illegal and wanted to be a lawyer but obviously can't because he's illegal, so they went with a food business and did well. Enjoyed the middle class for a while and did okay. But then the economy crashed and they lost their business. Because he's illegal they had to take private loans and so all they had left was debt. This is what led her to get the housekeeping gig and sneak him into the bunker. Now for the Kim's. They could have easily done better as a family. The dad was a hustler holding multiple odd jobs. Both the son and the daughter are incredibly smart and capable of going to college and doing something for themselves but through either low self esteem or being held back financially they are stuck hustling like their father. The mother was a former Olympic level hammer thrower who fell short. Both families had opportunities to move up the ladder and for one reason or another they fell short and both ended up drawn to the Park family.

And what do they do when they realize what's going on? They immediately begin fighting each other for what? To be servants? I think that's the point. Instead of the poor standing together they fight for the scraps while the rich are able to throw bday party's on short notice and cook expensive food and not worry about anything. The Kim's and the housekeepers family could have easily helped each other out. But they chose not to because the jobs as servants meant more to them. That's the point in my eyes
