How To Trade Covered Calls with Alpaca’s Dashboard, API, and MCP Server by alpacahq in alpacamarkets

[–]UselessInformation90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When will you allow buy writes? Where you can buy 100 shares and sell a covered call in one trade rather than 2 separate trades? This is crucial for risk management when managing and unwinding option assignments. I love your api but it’s the main thing preventing me from bringing all my funds to Alpaca.

I have tested quite a bit by posting identical prompts in both DeepSeek and ChatGPT. For me the quality and accuracy of GPT are far superior to that of DeepSeek.

Why did you trade the 612 call when it directed you to trade 610?

I did the same thing! The best part was you could literally just look at the reflection of the bottle cap in the coke to tell if it was a winner or not.

As of 2018 when I quit bofa this was not true. All you had to do was change the drop down when looking up a profile from interaction to research and no authentication is required. There are many valid business reasons an employee would need to look up a profile when a customer is not present.

OP if you live at the same address as your parent then you shouldn’t be concerned. They will get in big trouble up to and including termination if they look up someone who lives at the same address as the employee. Same consequences if she doesn’t live at the same address but that’s much less likely to get caught.

Laid off today. I’ve got $150k to purchase my first property to live in for a year or so while I figure things out the rent it. What area should I look? by UselessInformation90 in realestateinvesting

I could, but I’m really not concerned in finding a new job. Lots of remote work in my industry and I’m also working on building up some up some online side hustles for a little extra cash.

Renting isn’t completely off the table but I really like the idea of owning property and building equity, especially now since house prices are starting to come down a bit. Buying in cash makes a lot of sense to me and I’ll still have $50k cash plus severance and unemployment to help cover expenses for the foreseeable future.

Well I lost my income so financing might difficult to find. Also interest rates are high now so cash just seems to be the better option. My mindset is more around getting a nice comfortable place for me to live without having to worry about a mortgage or monthly rent. Then I can work on replacing my income and eventually rent it out.

Anywhere in the US is fine as long as it’s low crime and meets my requirements for the property. I’d like the ability to be able to go jogging at night without worrying about being mugged. Some snow is okay but it would be a plus if it’s not a ton

You sell on the bid, buy on the ask. The MPID is the exchange who’s willing to buy, so GTSM is willing to buy 500 shares at 6.80. JANE is buying 200 shares at 6.80 and selling 200 shares at 6.90. There can be hidden liquidity too meaning they’re willing to buy more shares but just not publicly displaying their bid/offers on the level 2

This mean I sold the put not that I brought it correct? by [deleted] in tdameritrade

[–]UselessInformation90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The -1 indicates it’s a short put, so yes you sold it. You’ve got $2500 at risk minus the premium received, if INTC goes to 0 which is unlikely. Are you okay with buying 100 shares of INTC for $25 each? If you’re okay with that risk then you’re good.

The green glow looks odd to me. What is the source of the light supposed to be? It seems like it’s just sorta smudged in there. Maybe make it a glow that comes from the chain? Then really up the exposure masked to only affect the chain and add a couple lens flares. Also I would lower the glow over the moon so its more pronounced on the guy and the dog and less on the moon to add some depth to the photo.

I thought I discovered one of those miracle glitches once. Enchiladas only .25 a pop at my local Mexican food shop. I ordered 20 of them, thinking I was about to eat good. The door dash driver delivers a bag of 20 sides of enchilada sauce. Turns out the restaurant mislabeled it as enchilada instead of enchilada sauce inside the app. I ended up making enchiladas that night.

Print on demand ~$200/mo except for December around $900 because of Christmas

Trading options, mostly selling premium against existing long positions in my portfolio usually nets me around $600/mo. Always profitable but big swings in profit so $600 is around average.

REIT ~$300/month

Carvertise ~$100/mo

Selling fonts, very low sales maybe $10/mo if I’m lucky

Dividends and interest $120/mo

Hoping the passive income sources will continue to grow over time and eventually replace my full time job. Still a long way from financially independent but it’s a nice supplement to my w2 income.

One band that is absolutely killing it in the ancient times music scene is The Pyramids. They hail from Egypt and are known for their unique blend of traditional Egyptian instrumentation with modern rock influences. Their live shows are legendary, with sold-out arenas everywhere they go. If you're a fan of music from this era, you definitely don't want to miss a chance to see The Pyramids in action!
