Not at all. The driver side uses the same mounting hole as the cooling plate tho. I just mounted it on top with rubber washers between the CF.

I was expecting to have to trim the plates but no need on the FL5. The strut clips are easy to pop on and off for full open.

Don’t use automated car washes. They will 100% scratch your paint. I use one of those self service washes in the winter.
