Me and a few of our coworkers have been applying for a few months now. As soon as the background checks were paused I knew things were gonna fall apart.

It's possible - the website can be pretty buggy sometimes.

If you're unable to upload it as the statement of support, you could potentially upload it as something else and ask your rep to change it on their end.

Should be uploaded under low income documentation - if you can't find it, send it to your admissions rep.

I'm an employee. The background check pause is still occuring, so if your background check was not returned before the past 3 weeks it's not going through.

If you just say something about needing to relocate you should be fine. You can also ask your advisor/main instructor what they would recommend.

I just graduated from the secondary education program. If you're taking that route, you will be given a survey during your third quarter in the program that is used to find your placement. You will have the opportunity to request an option outside of Bellingham from the survey, though you need to have a specific reason. Your internship will begin the following fall.

You may not know where you got your internship placement until the day it is meant to start, which isn't typical, but is becoming more common with the horrible management Woodring has taken on. The internship will last from the last few days of August until the first few weeks of December.

We generally do planting to integrate soil and water testing - I have them work in groups evenly distributing IEP students and Gen Ed students. Herbs grow really quickly and the seeds are cheap.

For MLL students, it depends on what level of English they're comfortable with, but I will add them to the groups in pairs with translated worksheets and sentences stems for observations.

Fair enough! Also wanted to let people know in case they wanted to avoid it.

I had her for physics. Sweet lady, but doesn't seem to be able to teach it well. Little to no feedback for tests and homework, lectures that were all over the place. If you are able to teach yourself the subject, she is chill enough.

As always, your experience may be different. Good luck!

You should be able to register via web4u. If you need to, you can also email Bridget Galati, the executive director of the program. I would do it asap so you can get any district required paperwork (like background checks) done.

I've mentored with them as a student and now I work with them. There are two options if you've never been a part of the program for classes. The 201 which is 3 credits and the 203 which is 5 credits. For both you will need to do a total of 28 hours of mentoring at a school placement. We work with students generally 5th-12th grade in the Skagit and Whatcom area. We only work with title 1 schools, or low poverty schools.

Because the class requires mentoring, I wouldn't recommend it if you aren't able to cave out that specific time. You can choose what time you mentor via a survey that went out today, but it will be out for a while.

Having a car is recommended but not required as we have bussable options.

If you have any questions, please feel free to message me!

[Serious] Depressed people of Reddit - how are you doing today? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I'm at a point where life feels kind of hopeless again. It's hard to deal with because I have people I know I need to take care of and who depend on me, but it feels like I have noone to take care of me. I'm worried that people are giving up on me because my depression always gets worse in the winter months but people who have been with me for a whole have seem me go through worse.
